The idiot is part of the establishment trying to implement the NWO. He is working the global warming/green house gas scheme to work toward bankrupting the economy of our country.
I just hope people start to wake up and understand, global warming/climate change is not caused by green house gases nor is it caused by humans. The sun is the cause of global warming and cooling and nothing more. These warming and cooling cycles have been going on for thousands of years.

Tones, did I miss something, because I didn't see anyone saying that Obama's agenda against the coal industry was a good thing?
I'm sure I'm telling everyone something they already know, but over 1/2 of our electricity is generated from coal.
If Obama is successful in his plan, our electricity costs will go through the frickin' roof.
Tones doesn't like the truth when it conflicts with her racism. She has demonstrated this on at least one other occasion recently.
There are plenty of reasons to hate Obama. Invoking race or religion (especially when the "facts" are outright lies) is stupid, given that the man is an avowed socialist, if not a communist, in everything but name. Such sentiments serve only to alienate non-white power folk (myself included), and make us all look like a bunch of $#@!s, marginalizing EVERYTHING we are about.

No, it's time for the truth. You are reading things that aren't there. No-one in this thread is defending Obama's positions. Everyone is saying "Stop acting racist". If you don't like Obama because he's a big eared, white baby eating Muslim terrorist from Mars, that's fine, but keep it to yourself. Criticize him using his inane and insane positions, not his race or his religion. It's fine to criticize him for saying he wants to bankrupt the coal industry, because that's just stupid.

It's just a step above claiming that you were abducted by aliens. It makes you look crazy, and no-one pays attention to crazy people. Most people want to distance themselves from crazy people. If they are on the same side of any issue as a crazy person, they may just be inclined to move over to the other side on that issue. This is not what we need when we are arbitrarily detaining US citizens and stripping vast swaths of the nation of their rights.
This movement is bigger than race. This movement is about freedom, and that's exactly what's at stake. Sorry if I seem terse with you, it's just that I want this place to be somewhere that I can direct people to go to learn more about the freedom movement, but it doesn't help when they come back the next day and tell me that I'm a racist because of some nasty little thread like this one. This hasn't happened to me yet, but I don't want to risk it.
Hearts and minds, people. We need to fight for every one of them. If I send a black republican friend of mine here, I want him to be welcomed due to his ideology, and I want to turn him to our cause, and have him convert others that I wouldn't be able to reach. The last thing I want is to get him pissed off because of someone's racist rant against Obama. I'd rather see him get pissed off at Obama because he wants to spend our country into oblivion, as does McCain.
The truth of the comment is that he was being asked about the impact of emission caps on industry including the coal industry. He is in favor of reducing emissions on things including coal burning plants and so is John McCain- who is coincidentally running this story in coal country of Pennsylvania- but leaving off the part about he supports what Obama was talking about too.
But hey- the election will be over tomorrow.

So The One wants to cut our dependence on foreign oil by converting 50% of our cars to electric, while cutting our national consumption of electricity by 15%, simultaneously bankrupting the people who actually produce the electricity.
Amazing feat. Maybe he can use that bread and fishes trick to feed the masses, too!
