    Baltic Dry Index







    How significant is this? Someone on another forum said this:

    The BDI is considered a good indicator of future economic activity, because much of the material being shipped are raw resources to make things. If those resources aren't shipping, then nobody is making (or selling or buying) anything.

    Obviously, all this bailout crap

    does not matter, the BDI says we are DOA, a bailout does not produce jobs which is "normally" a prerequisite for consuming. We are going to 8-10 percent unemployment fast and the day of the Chinese trinkets clogging the Port of LA are over. Forget the talking heads and raise funds to prepare yourself.
