I think Arthur Laffer's theory is the most abused economic theory ever. When he proposed tax cuts for the wealth (at the start of Reagan's presidency) the top tax bracket paid 70% or their income. Now they pay about 35%. At 70% a tax cut will cause people to work harder. At 35%, a tax cut will reduce revenues and do NOTHING to help the economy.

Yeah I give Glenn a lot more credit now he really is coming around but he still needs to wake up on the whole "War on Terror" scare tactics he falls for every time. I think Maher drilled this guy early on but decided to ease off since the guy was completely losing his cool on live T.V.(So perhaps out of sympathy). If only he understood this guy deserves none.

Maher is smart and a great comedian and I love him when I agree with him, which does happen a bit, I will give him that.

His political philosophy could use some Ludwig von Mises in it, though, that's for sure. I think he's an example of someone that could come around to our side, if he was exposed enough to the right economics.
