I got fingerprinted and photoscanned... on my way to the UK. Not a U.S citizen, not even entering the country... remained in transit lounge, waiting for the plane to refuel.. so we can get back on it again and take off...

I got singled out.. and I asked; "what if I refuse?" lady said... 'we can refuse you entry to the country'... *

I stated I didn't "want to go to the US cus it was a fascist $#@!en empire" (lol jks)

    * I debated I wasn't going to the US, I was going to the UK. She said I would be detained if I refused.. I'm 17 years old, travelling to the otherside of the world with a friend.. haha, I don't rock the boat..

So now I'm in the US system.. That was several yrs ago.

I went through the process a couple of months ago.

the question I asked at the time I was being fingerprinted was "I wonder if Thomas Jefferson would have consented to this"?

I found out all I needed to know yesterday when I browsed in a pawn shop and found they had exactly one pistol in stock.

If I had to give prints I wouldn't do it. Nobody that hasn't been charged with a criminal offense should be fingerprinted. If you're fingerprinted and cleared of all charges I think your prints should be removed from the database too.

You usually have two types of concealed permits.
You have a county permit that comes from your sheriff's office. These are usually easier to get.
Then you have the federal conceal permit. The requirements should be uniform among many the many states. Requiring a registration of prints with the FBI.

That might be how it is in LA, but I don't think that's how it is most places.

Most permits are issued by states and various states have various reciprocal agreements with each other. Some states offer both resident and non-resident permits. Some states recognize only resident permits from other states, both, or neither. Many do use the fbi for a background check.

My prints are everywhere. I have a ts clearance and worked with the fbi. My past and present have been gone over with a fine tooth comb.

If I were to commit a crime, I'd glue my fingertips, wear gloves, put vaseline in my hair and eyebrows, and wear long sleeves, so the prints won't do them much good.

Huh? This doesn't make much sense. Where did you depart from, what ws your destination, and where did you layover?

If I understand correctly they fingerprint all people coming in and out of the US unless you are a citizen.

Can't you just buy a gun from a gunshow without going through "the state"?
