Hypothetical Poll: Ron Paul vs. Obama

Last I heard, Ron Paul was winning...meaning that maybe the GOP picked the WRONG GUY.

Online polls really don't mean much. We won pretty much every online poll for the last year. It got so bad sites took Paul off the option because the other candidates weren't getting even 1% by comparison.

Those were the old days...This is NOW. I doubt if there are quite as many Paulites clogging the polls. Shoot, only about 400 have answered this one.

The article is quite good, too.

I agree. Ron Paul most definitely would not be polling at 70% nationally had he won the nomination.

I do think, however, he would be doing better than McCain. Probably even leading. The majority of people who identify themselves as "Republicans" are going to vote for whoever the Republican candidate is. And while the neocons and evangelicals might not really approve of Ron Paul, I doubt they would vote for someone else and hand the election to Obama. This, coupled with the fact that Ron Paul had a lot of support from the liberal part of the political spectrum, tells me that he would have a really good chance to get elected.

    Big and little L Libertarian!

    Ron Paul Fanatic.
