How many dollars are in circulation?

I've been searching and can't find this information. I know they don't publish the
M3 but is there another source? And how much is this bailout vs. what we have in circulation? A comment by a youtuber claimed the bailout is half of everything in circulation and I'd like to know if this is a true claim.

Last figure I had was 597 Billion. Actual federal reserve notes floating in the world. It might be more than that now. The figure is perhaps a year or so old. But most of the money created isnt in the form of physical notes, its just done electronically.

If you google M3 I think there is somewhere that calculates it using some formula. It isn'r official but is supposed to be pretty accurate.

    Check this out http://goldprice.org/bob/2008/02/m3.html

Pretty sure that is money, electronic and otherwise, not actually currency in circulation.
The currency itself is not the critical issue though (pun!) it is the total money amount including electronic)

$829 billion physical paper dollars in circulation.

147.3 million ounces of gold held at Fort Knox
    (http://www.usmint.gov/about_the_mint...on=fun_facts13)

$829 billion divided by 147.3 million ounces = $5,628 per ounce of gold,
that is, if everyone with physical dollars decided to redeem them all at once. Is the math correct, and is this reasonable?
