I accidentally had dinner with Bob and Jeri Barr last night

So, Bob Barr spoke at the Reason event last night for the debate. Beforehand, a group of us all met for dinner at at Chinese restaurant very close. This info was put out on a few lists etc. Bob and his wife Jeri and a staffer showed up and joined us. I don't know how they knew.

Nothing huge to tell, they were very nice and funny. They took our teasing well. Bob was at the end of a long table so conversation waas more difficult, but Jeri was more in the middle. We started making lots of jokes: asking if she knew how many houses they had, etc. (one). Ok, now that I think about it, most of the jokes weren't really very funny, but they took it all well.

That's awesome. I am not necessarily a Barr supporter, but do you think you would ever run into Obama or McCain in a restaurant? I doubt it..

    I don't eat Chinese,
does that mean I will never accidentally have dinner with a politician?

I suppose I'll just have to purposely do so, then. :[

Chinese food is awesome, especially the buffets

Ironically though, I usually just make Singapore chow mein fun on a plate and add some General Tso's chicken to it.

    Congrats Bradley

    That sounds like fun, OP!

I'm still not decided, but after seeing his "counter-debate" during the McLame-Barry debate, I was rather impressed by how he handled it. DECISIONS, DECISIONS!! I'm going to be negotiating with my conscience till the last minute.
