Thread: Bush's so-called solution

    Bush's so-called solution

George Bush is the least intellectual president I’ve seen in my lifetime, and his speechwriters are anti-intellectual as well. The man obviously doesn’t write his own speeches – his presentation in the press conferences (that aren’t scripted) is worse than the kids in private schools I’ve talked to lately – they understand history, politics, and economics a lot more clearly than does the self-professed “leader” of our nation.

He expects us to forget that not more than a week ago, he was praising the soundness of our economy. Now he says the economy is so bad that he’s giving up his free market “inclinations”. (By the way, the only advocate of free market in our leadership that speaks from conviction is Ron Paul, who is also giving Ben Bernake the argument of his life in congress right now).

Bush says that the influx of foreign money was one of the reasons that we got to this point, and the influx was due to the “attractiveness” of American investment. This is true – our country and it’s remaining assets (our ideals, our property, and the few vestiges of patriotism that are in the minority right now) are still desired, as the parasite’s lunch, by the socialism that is roaming the world freely and unfettered right now. If our once great bastion of Independence’s hope is swallowed by socialism or fascism, then freedom will surely die on this planet. The other countries will follow, and freedom will be enjoyed only by those who are truly free. Notice that I didn’t mention our currency as being one of our assets – it’s actually one of our gravest liabilities right now, in the deflation that our insanely irresponsible fiscal policy has brought us to.

Bush said that the mortgage-backed securities were based on the belief of the federal government’s guarantee. That means that the banks were looking to the government for their protection. He is now looking to the banks for protection, and to the citizens for taxes. The banks right now are looking to the government for bailouts and the citizens to deposit currency. The citizens are looking to the banks for loans, and to the government for protection against the banks who took their money - that they didn’t have enough of anyway for the loans they assumed. All three entities are looking to the other 2 to save them. None of them have any “currency” left, and the only assets that remain in this once great nation are the ones I mentioned above.

Bush is relying on his economic “experts” to help this solution move along. He also relied on the “experts” who told him there were weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, and we see the consequences of that incompetence overseas. If this plan is enacted, then we will surely see the consequences of this incompetence here at home, and it will destroy this country much more than the attacks on 9/11 did. 300 million are at risk now – 3,000 died 7 years ago in that shameful lack of defense by our nation’s so-called leaders’ military incompetence to protect us from a mere handful of men - who were dumb enough to come here and preach Islamic extremism while visiting strip clubs, renting apartments without furniture, and taking flying lessons from schools where they told the instructors, “the whole landing thing isn’t a required class”. Any educated patriot would have seen that coming long ago, given the signs we as the American public can only see in retrospect.

Bush is blaming partisan politics on what partly led us to this crisis, and is calling for a unification of the parties – TOWARDS SOCIALISM. His 8 year reign of fascism didn’t work, so he is avoiding Independence by going towards socialism. Our founding fathers would be ashamed!!!!! I’ve never seen treason against the Constitution in a more blatant way in my lifetime – and if there was ever a reason to impeach, we surely have it now . . . but only held to the standard of the Constitution, not the majority opinion in America right now.

Wake up America!! We must not let this happen – it will surely mean the death of Liberty, the death of Life, the death of the pursuit of Happiness, and eventually, our physically deaths . . . from waiting in breadlines someday just like in every other country in the history of humanity that ever had socialism on this grand of a scale.

If the wealthy people in this country allow themselves to be sacrificial fodder for their own destroyers, then they will die slow and painful deaths, wondering where in the world the wealth that they’ve worked so long for went to. It up and vanished like a fart in the wind, and before long, not even the odor of reminder will remain.

It’s your choice America: life or death, liberty or slavery, the pursuit of happiness or the decline into misery. Neither one of these options can exist totally with the other’s presence. A little slavery is still slavery, a little death is still death, and a little misery is still misery. The choice between the lesser of two evils is still evil, and lipstick on a pig is still just whistlin’ Dixie. Truth is truth, a lie is a lie, an honest golf score is an honest golf score, and a broken promise is still broken. It’s time to call a spade a spade – but only held to a specific, unarguable standard . . . the Constitution. If anyone says that the Constitution is no longer valid, then they still need to call a spade a spade – socialism and fascism run amuck in the halls of power. Call it what is it, and try to defend it in name. Then look at the historical evidence for it, and decide if it’s what you want America . . . I haven't, and never will. I'll go on defending Independence till the day I die!!!!!

In all Patriotism, Humility, and Confidence,
    Craig Thompson
