Thumbs down Wonkette morons at it again

Don't these children have anything better to do?

The Wonkettes, all 3 of them, are writing about the convention.

    http://wonkette.com/402412/st-paul-t...ass-convention

They never seem to have anything intelligent to offer, except bad jokes about their apparently excessive drinking habits.

    What a waste of humanity.

.... unless of course you're one of them and are trying to drive traffic to the site.

Eh, I've begun to... not hate Wonkette so much. Their perspective on us is interesting to hear, specifically what in particular they're finding bat$#@! crazy about some of us.

Besides, Paultard is a great word!

    I couldn't disagree more, I'm afraid.

Putting the suffix "-tard" on the end of a word to denote people or ideas one dislikes is not only a childish, hurtful, and counterproductive debate tactic...it's also an easy out for anyone who isn't literate or perceptive enough to come up with more insightful observations on the issue at hand (e.g. most partisan bloggers of both parties), and tends to be used exclusively by people looking for a cheap ad hominem jab that isn't meant to convince or discourse constructively at all.

It's also a trend that has more than worn out the welcome mat in the annals of internet lexiconography. Time to put "-tard" to bed, in all it's forms, IMHO.

    I agree.

I've always thought "Ronulan" was cute though.
