Coalition Government?

In a radio talk room and the discussion came up about 'Coalition Governments' was wondering what a opinion of that would be? how would it apply to the Constitution?

This term usually applies to a parliamentary system, so any coalition government set up in either house would have little impact on how we do things. It is impossible in our system to have a coalition executive, the only thing that would really change anything from a Constitutional standpoint. I can't really seeing this happen unless a conservative or liberal third party emerges and forces the party they came from to compromise to keep some control over one house or the other.
