what is the best bet for investing as of yet for today's market?

commodities, small franchises? I'd like to know what is a sure bet for making some extra money in today's market.

I'm no investor by any means, but I heard a week or two back from Jim Rogers that agriculture is pretty good, but that's all I know.

I've been making a few hundred bucks a weekend at the local flea market selling magnetic jewelry. I'm sure you can do the same with other low cost imports in bulk lots. It's not hard to turn $500 into $2500 in a month if you find the right products and suppliers.

You would not be investing. You would be speculating.

Investing is long term... you go on the value of the business etc. it's quality, long term prospects etc..

Silver is near the low for the year. I highly recommend making big purchases before it goes back up. Save some for later in case it goes even lower. Just look at the one year chart, it has just gotten done taking a huge beating.
