Yeah, so what article of the Constitution are those "global responsibilities" spelled out under?
This is absolutely correct. We cannot afford to forget the need to kill millions of people and spend trillions in doing it. Whether that be by economic embargo of necessary economic material or through carpet bombing our global responsibility must never be forgotten. Once we have successfully armed at least 50% of the world with our own weaponry we may consider a small reduction in the need for bombing ourselves.
Only a policy of intervention into the government's of other nations and peoples is acceptable for the new American century.
Amendment I.
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press, or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
Amendment II.
A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.
Although I agree with Ron Paul's Foreign policy wholeheartedly, this cartoon seems incredibly harmful for me (despite its cuteness!). It is exactly what people fear about isolationist foreign policy: instead of being the policy of doing greater good in the world through trade and good example than through the barrel of a gun, it is the policy that you are just letting the rest of the world crash and burn, despite all the messes the US has already started abroad to begin with.
Not to mention it continues to portray RP as a libertarian, instead of a republican by associating him so closely with Ayn Rand. Ron Paul is not *actually* John Galt, people.
