Thread: Long Island - Lone Wolf Campaign for Liberty

Cool Long Island - Lone Wolf Campaign for Liberty

Okay, so I figured their are not many people in Nassau County, NY who know about this movement of ours. So, what I have done is come up with a campaign of my own. It invovles three towns:

    East Meadow, NY
    Uniondale, NY
    East Garden City, NY

All within the Town of Hempstead

Now my hope is to post fliers throughout my travels of going to college. I take the bus to get to college which is in Garden City so from East Meadow I go through Uniondale to get to school. Encompassing these three towns. Now because, I live in East Meadow this is where I will post the most being that I know the more popular places around town.

    I have three forms:

    1. The first one is going to have rip off tabs and a larger message above. On each tab advertises for Ron Paul's Book and Naomi Wolf's book. This one will be throughout East Meadow.

    2. The second one is going to not have rip off tabs but will be a larger poster that will advertise also for the books and giving facts about what is happening as well as what this movement is about to counter what is happening. This will be posted in both Uniondale and Garden City however, not on the college campus!

    3. The third one is similar to the second one however this one will be posted in the college campus and will talk about relevant things within the young adult age. I do not know if I should make a college group because, I do not know if I can really "lead the way" maybe its me, I never really been given the chance to take up such an opportunity like this. ANY OPINIONS OR THOUGHTS ON THIS IDEA?

It is my hope that this advertising campaign will be able to grow into a large presence on Long Island. If you look at the history of The Town of Hempstead, it was a "safe-haven" for the loyalists to the King. Now, with the second American revolution is nearing and it is my hope that I and others like me can help make up for such a past mistake and support the patriots.

Interestingly enough Hofstra University is going to be the last place where the Presidential Debates are going to be, this is along my route of postings for my own campaign. That debate takes place in mid to late October.

    ANY OPINIONS OR THOUGHTS OVERALL?

Welcome to the forum. I think these are great ideas and admire your initiative.

I do think you should consider starting a college group. Jeff Frazee was in charge of that for the campaign and can be found on Facebook

Obviously the answer is much more closer to home but, I am new to organizing and things like that, is their any tips here on this forum for someone to organize. I will check out this person on Facebook as well. I thank you for the support.

I added up the amount of miles this encompasses its about 8 to 10 miles worth of fliers. Two times I will need to walk a distance to get home from Garden City into East Meadow however, the price is worth it, in the name of Liberty.

    The first things is??

1.We need to organized a group of young people to get the message out of freedom.

    2. Get a few speakers who believe in our message of freedom.

    3. Talk about why the Presidential Candidates why they don't stand for the true meaning of Freedom.

I think all overall is a great idea to do it, and support it 100%.

    [redacted]

Looks like there is a Ron Paul/Long Island group that is transitioning to the Campaign for Liberty on the link above.

EDIT: I didn't realize who was the Meetup Organizer --- not someone with which you want to associate.

Idea #1 actually would be taken care of at the college I go to which is only like a minute or two drive to Hofstra University.

Idea #2 the idea I had was that if the movement got big enough it could make a potential to invite Ron Paul to Nassau County, NY and come to Eisenhower Park, which is a large Park in East Meadow. Bush came here in '05 for groundbreaking Ceremony for new 9/11 Memorial.

Idea #3 the posters I have specifically set for the college ones speak of a few deceptions from the candidates.

1.Do you go to school at Hofstra University?

    2. How are you going to convents the students to specifically express a few deceptions about the candidates?

    1. Unfortunately No I do not go to Hofstra. I goto Nassau Community College. A lot of people travel between the two, if we can work at this college (NCC) than when they go to Hofstra they maybe a group to represent the Ron Paul Campaign for Liberty movement.

    2. that needs more people... i think... Its largely thought out as I go along... thats why I brought it up here for open discussion.

When you go back to college in a week or two, are you get a couple of students from Nassau Community College & Hofstra to join and represent the Campaign For Liberty?
