This is a documentary about US government involvement in South America by John Piliger.

It corrects the disinfo being reported about Chavez showing he's no threat to us (though he still favors socialism, but that can only hurt Venezuela, not us). Also it reviews how our (US) government has tried to influence our South American neighbors through dictators, death squads, and intolerance of descent by the smallest of countries.

More recently, though, some failures to suppress change have failed (in Venezuela most notably) and this is fueling the growth of a new movement in South America.

My favorite part is when a Venezuelan woman is talking about that they need to own their own property so that they can have more power in the places they live.
