Thread: I need Rand's E-mail Adderss!

    Question I need Rand's E-mail Adderss!

    Howdy -

I live about 40 minutes or so away from Rand Paul (Ron's son) in Nashville and I need to get a hold of him.

It's actually unrelated to the campaign. Rand is an eye doc and I have developed a problem with my eye unfortunately.

I don't actually want to call him because it would be better for him if he were able to respond to an e-mail at his leisure.

I am looking to see if my problem is something he can do anything about, or if he could at least refer me to another eye doc in Nashville. Choosing Rand as my doc is of course my first choice because I want to support him and his family.

Obviously you may not want to post Rand's address, but if you would be willing to PM it to me it would be very well appreciated.

    Thanks!

Honestly, if you have a problem with your eye I'd recommend you forget about Rand and get it taken care of ASAP by someone in town. You don't want to delay treatment and risk going blind. It happens a lot more than you'd think.

Well the actual problem isn't the eye itself, it's the muscles that control the lower eyelid. They are spazing out and have been twitching a lot lately which pulls my eye downward just slightly. I don't know if it's a vitamin thing, or if something can be done about it. My amateur research on the web tells me it's "stress" ha ha but I want to see a pro.

And instead of seeing any doc in the box here in town, I would prefer to see Rand or someone he recommends.

I actually have that at times. I'm not sure what it is. I've never sought eye doctor care as it only happens briefly.

Thank you very much for the helpful information. I zipped him a message on MySpace. If I don't hear anything by next week I'll call his office.

    Thanks again.

it happens because of lack of sleep
Ron Paul's heart is made out of gold. This greatly upsets the Federal Reserve.

My average, nonprofessional, optometry school student buddy relayed the following:

I might be wrong, but I think that it is "fasciculation". usually caused by medications, or caffeine. Stress is also associated with it.
It doesn't end with this election cycle. Commit to long term change, and you won't see all the GOP state convention shenanigans as the end of the Ron Paul Revolution--but as the end of the neocon control of the GOP, (and the beginning of the Ron Paul Revolution). Hang in there for another year or so, and you'll start to see some absolutely amazing results for all of our efforts. ~Ninja Homer

I read that too. I dont have any stress currently, I'm not on any medication, and I haven't had caffeine in a year.

That is why I want to see a doc about it..

I'd be curious to talk to my friend about whichever diagnoses to which the doctor pegs you--if you don't mind sharing, of course.

My mother knows one of his patients and she LOVES him. If you want to stay in Nashville, I can tell you that people LOVE Dr. Eric Groos. (Good luck getting in.) I have had a major permanent problem thanks to "one of the best in the country" at Baptist, and if I ever need eye surgery again, Dr. Groos is the only local I would even consider.

GOOD LUCK! If this is histoplasmosis-related, be VERY careful if they tell you that there will be "some loss of visual acuity," and get a second opinion regarding the treatment!!! Oh, nevermind about the histo thingie. I just read the entire thread.
