Question How many countries can you name?

Fun little exercise. How many countries can you name? After replying with your lists and guesses other people can correct you if you get any wrong.

    For example:

    North America:
United States -- Western Hemisphere * blah blah*, or leave blank if you don't know -exactly- where it's located.

I admit that I didn't think I could name this many countries, but I do
feel like I'm missing (not remembering) a few, especially in the Middle
East region and those formerly part of USSR. But I've already wasted
too much time on this project :P

Sigh I was bored enough to do this think I got 130 countries off the top of my head (edit: it's 124), I think I might have a slight edge due to being such a big soccer fan, knowing about obscure countries which have famous soccer players I think though that I missed half the suffix-stan countries, a quick glance at your lists I can see I missed Romania, Moldova, Kenya and Ethiopia and Rwanda quite annoyingly Think I at least spelled them all correctly though, apart from Herzigovinia which I know I haven't spelled right..

Why not just list all the gang names you know? Why legitimize the whole concept of theft by gangs by trying to remember their names?

Better quiz: Name ONE country on earth where the people are truly free.

Hint: The answer should make you weep.
