I am not voting to "send a message." If there is no one worth voting for then I am not voting for anybody.

As Emma Goldman said: "If voting changed anything, they'd make it illegal." That being said, I probably will vote, and if I do I'll be writing in Ron Paul, no questions about that. But let's be honest; we're not going to win this war in the voting booth, at least not as long as the vast majority of the American people continue to bleat happily over their bread and circuses.

i sorta liked this poll, the impulse of many here is to go third party! again, obama has secured the vote of colin powell and has picked up $150 million dollars last month in perhaps small donations, as letterman has heard the happy revelation from mccain, namely "i screw'd up!"

the delicate topic is, as this goes down the wire, assuming g.w bush still has a quiet antipathy to mccain,
and it looks like karl rove ain't stuffing ballot boxes galore for good ol' 'nam vet mccain, do people opt to
vote for the guy who is least likely to send anyone a symbolic or real message, or do we all go to a third
party each in our states so as to hint to the next "OPERATION CAT HERDER" that there are potential votes
out there of people who have a dissatisfaction with the two main parties? i feel each third party vote sends
someone a message, an' indicates a resistance to some of the media blitzing out there. i know i am dissatisfied...

    Don't know who wins.

    We all lose.
If this should be, our final stand,
we will stand together with pride
We will honour the past, and fight to the last,
it will be a good way to die
It matters not, if the cause is lost,
and we can not stop the tide
We will fight to the end, and then fight again,
it will be a good way to die
