    Share your police corruption stories!

In light of the perpetuated legal immunity of our servant peace officers receive I decided to create a thread in which they were clearly found to be "guilty" I grew up in Tacoma, WA and will start with this one example.

David Brame Police Cheif of Tacoma, WA 2004

Concerned that the feds were onto the Culture of Corruption as it would be coined later, David had just one problem before he'd blow his fat pig head off. He was pissed that his wife had cashed out so much and wouldn't be facing any consequences, as an officer of the law he was committed to seeing justice through, even on this fateful day. Solution, reach over and shoot her in the head. With that problem solved and his two young children still sitting in the back seat of the car he turned his service weapon on himself and did perhaps the only honorable thing I've ever recalled a police officer do, he shot himself in the head.

His two children were in the backseat of the car in this grocery store parking lot for approximately 2-3 hours before someone noticed wtf had happened.

    To protect and serve!

When I was about 8 years old my mom and I got beat up in a park right in front of the cops and multiple eye witnesses.
One dyke cop told us we were lucky they believed our story and told us to just "forget it ever happened"

Lesson of the story, if you want justice make sure you pay the pigs before the other guy does.

    Angry A valid point.

I have witnessed numerous crimes committed by our law enforcement community, and they are untouchable in most cases.1 exception was Haskell Co.dep. Dwayne "Rub" Oliver of Oklahoma.A lot of innocent people are/were in jail because of this guy and his lust for power.

One time, this Maryland cop was a real dick to me and gave me a speeding ticket, cuz I was speeding.

Another time I got a speeding ticket in Maryland, cuz I was speeding and he was very nice to me. He actually said that I was a very nice young lady and was very polite to him when I went to court.

There were two jerk cops in Ohio who felt it necessary to tail me for a mile before pulling me over for driving too slow. That's about as bad as it ever got for me. They didn't need to scare the crap out of an 18yr old girl driving alone, that was crappy. But I think they were bored.

When I was robbed at gunpoint, the cops showed up fast and were very nice, they even found my wallet a few days later (minus some photos I had in there, that was creepy.)

When I was a little kid, my parents forgot to pick me up at church (yeah, I know I'm all Dickensian and $#@!) and I was walking along a highway after dark and a cop came and picked me up and drove me home--he then lectured my folks about letting me walk home by myself after dark. Pretty funny.

Point is, I've dealt with the police face to face about ten or so times, and only 2 out of the 10 times were they mildly jerky to me.

one time.. a cop gave me a hug.
The ultimate minority is the individual. Protect the individual from Democracy and you will protect all groups of individuals
Rightful liberty is unobstructed action according to our will within limits drawn around us by the equal rights of others. I do not add 'within the limits of the law' because law is often but the tyrant's will, and always so when it violates the rights of the individual. - Thomas Jefferson
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

Just wrote a long post and lost it. Probably good thing. Many cops bad. Will threaten to take your kids (in front of them) for a chance to look in your car and maybe score some drugs. Crystal heads, mostly.

There was this one time when I saw a cop, and I projected all of my hatred for authority onto him, and subsequently devoted a ton of effort to villifying him as a way to rationalize and justify my prejudices. I smell bacon.

That's usually the culprit. I knew this guy who told me all of these stories about how evil the cops in Wisconsin were and how they were all out to get him.

Truth is, he had a really short fuse, was angry at the world and in addition to some very shady business practices, he would never register his vehicles, get insurance or pay people back. He was asking to be targeted.

Are there some true stories about police abusing their power? Sure. But more often than not, the person who "gets it" is acting like an ass.

When my sons were 9 and 10 years old, the church lady across the street asked me if she could take them to the Baptist church on Sunday. I told her no. Later that week, CPS showed up at my door saying there had been a complaint of child neglect filed because we left our sons home alone from 9AM to 11AM on Saturday morning while my wife and I went to work. Well, knowing the source of the complaint, I refused to let the CPS woman in my house. She came back in a little while with a sheriff's deputy who handcuffed me while this woman went all through my house looking in cabinets, closets, under beds, etc. She then took each one of my sons into another room alone and questioned them one at a time. She then informed me that they could take my kids out of their home any time they wanted and there was'nt anything that I could do about it. Then the sheriff unhandcuffed me and they left and I have'nt ever heard another word from them. My sons are now grown and on their own. What happened at FLDS reminded me of my incident, and I still believe that self rightousness is the inspiration behind what is happening out there.

My brother pulls out of my house a cop is coming by pulls him over in my yard. Tells him he will be charged with illegally parking on the side of the road unless he submits to a car search. He's already patted both of us down in my yard, the car is in my yard, my brother's house you can see from my yard, it's the next house on the road. The cop is a raging maniac.

Later we find out that a couple months before he had chased a car load of teenagers down another country road, killing two in the ensuing accident. They had been pulled over and harassed by this evil bastard earlier the same night and wouldn't pull over the second time. The same people in the same car.

Another time my brother drives from his house past my mother's to my grandmother's house, all within site of each other, and pulls into my grandmother's driveway with his 10 year old daughter. He is surrounded by a fleet of cars from a roadblock up the street. They threaten to take his daughter from him on the spot (in front of her) unless he takes a breath test and gives permission for a car search.

The war on drugs means police must be corrupt. They cannot function otherwise. How long would they last busting every pharmacy they passed?

On the first day of school of my sophomore year in high school my father was driving me to the campus. I had on my lap my rather large viola case that I was bringing to be stored in a locker in the orchestra room. A cop pulled us over right in front of the High School and gave me, specifically, a ticket for not wearing a seat belt despite the fact that the viola case didn't fit in the hood of my dad's vw bug. If that's not being a $#@!, I don't know what is.

I've had a handful of run-ins with police, either at parties or my high school or just around town, I've found either they can't be bothered with helping you out or they're busy being tough on crime, ie whatever poor guy they've caught goofing something up.

Perhaps if they spent more time actually making our city a more enjoyable place to be and less time driving around staring people down, I'd have a higher opinion of them.

15 Philly officers taken off street after videotaped beating

    http://cosmos.bcst.yahoo.com/up/play...26713&src=news

PHILADELPHIA - Fifteen Philadelphia police officers have been taken off the street as authorities investigate a video showing three suspects being kicked and beaten by city police.

A spokesman for Mayor Michael Nutter says the mayor stands behind the police department but his first glance of the video does appear to show the officers overstepping their authority.

The video was shot Monday night by WTXF-TV. It shows three police cars stopping a car on the side of a road.

The tape shows about a dozen officers gathering around the vehicle and pulling three men out. About a half-dozen officers hold two of the men on the ground. Both are kicked repeatedly, with one of the two apparently struck with a baton. Punches were also thrown.

The third man is also kicked and ends up on the ground.
