Kaiser Wilhelm II's voyage to the Levant in 1898 was a State visit that the German Emperor undertook in the Ottoman Empire between 25 October and 12 November 1898.

The Kaiser started his journey to the Ottoman Eyalets with Istanbul on 16 October 1898; then he went by yacht to Haifa on 25 October. After visiting Jerusalem and Bethlehem, the Kaiser went back to Jaffa to embark to Beirut, where he took the train passing Aley and Zahlé to reach Damascus on 7 November. While visiting the Mausoleum of Saladin the following day, the Kaiser made a speech:

The Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) is an organization founded in 1964 with the purpose of the "liberation of Palestine" through armed struggle. It is recognized as the "sole legitimate representative" of the Palestinian people by over 100 states with which it holds diplomatic relations and has enjoyed observer status at the United Nations since 1974.Due to its activities, including violence aimed at Israeli civilians the PLO was declared by the United States to be a terrorist organization in 1987, although a presidential waiver has permitted contact since 1988. In 1993, the PLO recognized Israel's right to exist in peace, accepted UN Security Council resolutions 242 and 338, and rejected "violence and terrorism". In response, Israel officially recognized the PLO as the representative of the Palestinian people. However, the PLO has employed violence in the years since 1993, particularly during the 2000–2005 Al-Aqsa Intifada. On 29 October 2018, the Palestinian Central Council suspended the recognition of Israel and halted security and economic coordination in all its forms with it.

[Ismail Shammout speaking] “With this poster, I wanted to introduce [the PLO] logo, and at the same time convey the idea that the Palestinian people are the pillars of this organization.” The artist portrayed the necessity of a unified Palestinian people and its relationship to the nascent liberation movement. The form of a Greek temple with a gabled roof adorned with the recently released PLO slogan was supported by a number of people standing upright like columns. In their varied appearances, they seem to represent different social classes. Affirming this central meaning, the slogan: “We are all sons of Palestine” is written below. A version of this poster released after 1967 modified this slogan to read: “We are all for the resistance.”

The ARCH is an 81-floor 231-metre (758 feet) tall skyscraper completed in 2006 in Union Square. It is the third-tallest residential building in Hong Kong, consisting of four towers: Sun Tower, Star Tower, Moon Tower, and Sky Tower. The Star Tower is connected to the Moon Tower, while the Sky Tower is connected to the Sun Tower. The Sun (SOL) and Moon (MON) Towers (SOLOMON's Temple) are joined on the 69th floor and above to form an ARCH, hence the name "The ARCH".

The church contains effigies and memorials to two TEMPLAR Knights –Sir HAMO de WESTON (1137 to 1214) and Sir HUGH de WESTON (died 1304) – the origins of the naming of this large country estate in Staffordshire.
During the Crusades, the Knights Hospitallers and the Knights Templar became the most formidable military orders in the Holy Land. Frederick Barbarossa, the Holy Roman Emperor, pledged his protection to the Knights of St. John in a charter of privileges granted in 1185.

William Lever was born on 19 September 1851 at 16 Wood Street, Bolton, Lancashire, England. He was the seventh child born to James Lever (1809–1897), a grocer, and Eliza Hesketh, daughter of a cotton mill manager.
From William Lever’s humble beginnings, he would go on to become one of the most powerful industrialists in British history.

William Lever was a co-founder of no fewer than 17 lodges.
In 1902, at the age of 50, William Lever had his very own Masonic Lodge named after him – the William Hesketh Lever Lodge No. 2916 in Port SUNLIGHT. In 1907 he became Worshipful Master, going on to found many Lodges and hold various offices at national level. In May 1912 he founded St. Hilary Lodge No. 3591. He then became Past Pro-Grand Warden (P.P.G.W) and Immediate Past Master (I.P.M). In 1919, he was appointed Senior Grand Warden of the Grand Lodge of Mark Master Masons of England. He was Provincial Senior Grand Warden of the Provincial Grand Lodge of Cheshire, and founded many other Lodges.
Leverhulme saw Freemasonry as a useful tool to promote social cohesion and high standards of personal conduct and actively encouraged membership amongst his workforce. He established a Masonic control network to facilitate the smooth running of Lever Brothers at Port SUNLIGHT. Separate Lodges were created for managers, supervisors and workers. Freemasonry was an important instrument in his paternalistic policy for the welfare of his workers.
Lever designed and oversaw (along with more than 30 architects) the building of what was in effect a large-scale social experiment. Between 1899 and 1914, 800 houses were built for a permanent population of 3,500-4,000 workers, managers and administrators. Once completed, Port SUNLIGHT housed not only the vast new factory and offices, but also a hospital, church, technical institute, museum and library, auditorium, gymnasium, heated outdoor pool and refectories for workers.

Although most of the architects working at Port SUNLIGHT were local, some were of national importance, notably Sir Ernest George, Ernest Newton, and Sir Edwin Lutyens - nearly all the buildings are Grade II listed.
Sir Ernest George RA (1839–1922) served as President of the Royal Institute of British Architects (1908 - 1910).[5]
Ernest Newton RA FRIBA (1856 – 1922) served as President of the Royal Institute of British Architects (1914-1917).[5]
Sir Edwin Landseer Lutyens OM, KCIE, PRA, FRIBA (1869 – 1944) career would include the Presidency of the Royal Academy (1938-1944) and in 1925 chaired a jury panel for an international architectural competition for the design of Freemason’s Hall, United Grand Lodge of England, Great Queen Street, London.
Lord Leverhulme certainly appears to have been a popular boss - his funeral was attended by 30,000 people[7] – clearly a well respected man amongst his workforce and the community at large in the UK. (He is buried in the churchyard of Christ Church in Port SUNLIGHT, Cheshire).
However, Jules Marchal (1924-2004), a former diplomat in the Belgian Congo spent twenty years researching forced labour.
In Marchal’s book, ‘Lord Leverhulme’s Ghosts – Colonial Exploitation in the Congo’, the back cover summary is as follows:
“In the early twentieth century, the worldwide rubber boom led British enterpreneur Lord Leverhulme to the Belgian Congo. Warmly welcomed by the murderous regime of King Leopold II, Leverhulme set up a private kingdom reliant on the horrific Belgian system of forced labor, a program that reduced the population of Congo by half and accounted for more deaths than the Nazi Holocaust. In this definitive, meticulously researched history, Jules Marchal exposes the nature of forced labor under Lord Leverhulme’s rule and the appalling conditions imposed upon the people of Congo. With an extensive introduction by Adam Hochschild, Lord Leverhulme’s Ghosts is an important and urgently needed account of a laboratory of colonial exploitation”.

History
In the late 1960s, architect Mihajlo Mitrović was given the task of designing a 12-floor building and the head offices of the local community of Sutjeska, a sub-municipal administrative unit, on Narodnih heroja Street.
Mitrović suggested two connected and much taller buildings which would make a recognizable symbol of the capital city.
Fierce opposition, disagreements and disputes ensued, but Mitrović was persistent in his idea, giving detailed and exhaustive explanations in front of the numerous commissions.
He was finally given the green light and the foundations were laid in 1971.
In 2019 the Association of Serbian Architects filed a motion for Western City Gate to become a fully protected cultural monument.

The ARCo Británico (Spanish for British Arch) is a monument on Avenida Brasil, in Valparaíso, Chile. It was donated to the town in 1910 by the British community there to mark the centenary of the Independence of Chile. Designed by the Chilean architect Alfredo Azancot, the arch was unveiled in 1911.
The monument, covered in marble brought from Italy, is surmounted by a British Victorian lion and is decorated with the images of four Britons who participated in the Chilean War of Independence: Thomas Cochrane, Bernardo O'Higgins, Robert Simpson and Jorge O'Brien. It also bears the Chilean and United Kingdom coats of arms.

The Peruvian War of Independence was composed of a series of military conflicts in Peru beginning with viceroy Abascal military reconquest in 1811 in the battle of Guaqui, continuing with the definitive defeat of the Spanish Army in 1824 in the battle of Ayacucho, and culminating in 1826 with the Siege of Callao.

Simon Bolivar (1783-1830) The "George Washington" of South America, who in 20 years of warfare ‘liberated’ from Spanish tyranny the area which is now Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Bolivia. b. in Caracas, Venezuela. He joined Freemasonry in Cadiz, Spain and received the Scottish Rite degrees in Paris and was knighted in a Commandery of Knights Templar in France in 1807. While on a diplomatic mission to London in 1810 he was active in Freemasonry in that country. He founded and served as master of Protectora de las Vertudes Lodge No. 1 in Venezuela and in 1824 founded the Lodge Order and Liberty No. 2 in Peru. In 1828, when the anti-Masonic wave was sweeping over the world, Bolivar forbade meetings of Masons in Venezuela. His Scottish Rite collar and apron are on exhibit in the New York Grand Lodge museum.
His lodge, the Masonic Lodge “Lautaro” out of Cadiz, Spain, was also home to many other South American founding fathers. In April 1824, Simón Bolívar was given the 33rd degree of Inspector General Honorary.

The Venezuelan Declaration of Independence was a statement adopted by a congress of Venezuelan provinces on July 5, 1811, through which Venezuelans made the decision to separate from the Spanish monARCHy in order to establish a new nation based on the premises of equality of individuals, abolition of censorship and dedication to freedom of expression.
The Battle of Carabobo, on 24 June 1821, was fought between independence fighters, led by Venezuelan General Simón Bolívar, and the Royalist forces, led by Spanish Field Marshal Miguel de la Torre.
Bolívar's decisive victory at Carabobo led to the independence of Venezuela and establishment of the Republic of Gran Colombia.

He founded and served as master of Protectora de las Vertudes Lodge No. 1 in Venezuela and in 1824 founded the Lodge Order and Liberty No. 2 in Peru. In 1828, when the anti-Masonic wave was sweeping over the world, Bolivar forbade meetings of Masons in Venezuela. His Scottish Rite collar and apron are on exhibit in the New York Grand Lodge museum.
His lodge, the Masonic Lodge “Lautaro” out of Cadiz, Spain, was also home to many other South American founding fathers. In April 1824, Simón Bolívar was given the 33rd degree of Inspector General Honorary.

The Colombian Declaration of Independence occurred on July 20, 1810 when the Junta de Santa Fe was formed in Santa Fe de Bogota, the capital of the Spanish colonial Viceroyalty of New Granada (modern Colombia, Ecuador, Panama and Venezuela), to govern the territory autonomously from Spain and the Spanish monARCHy.

Proletarian Revolution
South America is a good example of a proletarian revolution where the working classes are tricked into thinking that they have escaped the tyranny of their previous masters.
However, the revolutionary wheel puts them right back where they started.
