Help Me Write This: A Booklet To Wake Up The Sleeping Masses

Given the fact that not everyone uses the internet the way we do, we will need to reach those who don't. I say we do it by passing out a booklet, far and wide, to everyone we can. Thomas Paine did it with his pamphlet called 'Common Sense'. It was instrumental in pushing the colonies to declare independence.

There is power in numbers and one of my favorite sayings is: There are more of us than there are of them. ~me
Them being the elitist pieces of crap that are trying to merge us with Canada and Mexico. To my way of thinking, this is the biggest threat to our sovereignty and individual freedom that we face. If we are serious about taking our country back, then we need more converts to this cause. We already know that the media is our enemy and we can't count on them for help. In fact, a Congressmen that I work with once told me: "You know the media hates you."

So here's an outline:

Make a comparison to how it was right before the Great Depression and how it is now.
This is by design to get us into the NAU.

I will add verifiable sources at the end. Put some pictures and illustrations in. And try to write it in a way that will hold interest for those who are what I call MMZs (media-mall zombies).

I need a title, some constructive criticism, some ideas, help with sources, anything you can do to contribute and everyone who does will be acknowledged.

Noble cause....unfortunately, there are many books and movies that cover these subjects. Most people won't take the time to look at them, aren't intelligent enough to understand them, or are so brainwashed that they can't accept the information.

Not everyone will get it, true. But my husband and I have been pretty successful at converting a lot of people. Most of the members of the minuteman movement now know about the NAU and many are working to fight it and spread the word. I believe we had a role in that. (We're State Leaders)

The problem is, it's time consuming doing it by word of mouth. A concise and interesting booklet would speed things up a bit. They can be passed out at conferences, parties, colleges, in front of stores, at parks, parades, tradeshows, in neighborhoods, etc. It would get the word out faster.

My husband was thinking that we should put an official looking emblem on the front and call it something like: 'What you need to know to prepare for an economic crisis.' He thinks if the MMZs see it as an official pamphlet, they might be more inclined to at least thumb through it.

I think of along with the title like "What will happen to us if our Cocoon get cracked? Note: This information will present you with guidance to where our future stands at" I'm sure some of you have better ideas...

Yeah, the banking system has to be in there for obvious reasons but the focus needs to be on how the economic collapse is by design to get us in the NAU, and then how we go about fighting against it, namely through HCR40, and securing our borders. Everything else will start to fall into place once the sheeple stop following the shepard and start thinking for themselves.

I think a 50-100 page pamphlet made cheap might be just what the doctor ordered. Common Sense was distributed to 300,000 people in the Colonies. There were an estimated 2.5M-3M people in the Colonies at the time. That is 10-12% of those living in the colonies at the time of independence. So if we could get this out to 30M-36M+, we could have a similar effect.

I agree, it's an awesome title - for people who are patriots and care about the Constitution. But we're trying to reach the people who don't have a clue about what is happening. The ones who believe what they see on the cable news networks, and then go to the malls and specialty stores on the weekends and charge up a bunch of useless crap, getting themselves further into debt, in order to fill the void in their meaningless lives.

You know the type. We all know the type. They work all day and then drive through some fast food joint, take it home and eat it while watching the news. Then, on the weekends, they spend money trying to keep up with the Jones's. They'll have barbecues and invite people over to show off all the stuff they don't technically own, and sit around drinking and b&tching about politicians and taxes and gas prices like they know what's up.

I gotta tell ya, nothing feels better to me than converting people like this. But it is sooooo time consuming.

Thanks for the heads up on the "Common Sense" booklet effort, I'll go check that out tonight. Any effort to awake'n our sleeping neighbors needs to be looked at and supported most seriously.

I have an idea to make this streamlined. We can have people submit material to a committee, and then the committee can make the decisions as to what should and shouldn't be in the pamphlet, and then we can set up a PAC to get funds to distribute it, and try to keep distribution costs down to =<$1. Of course, no one gets any money off the deal.

I would hand them out in person. Gets the person to actually take it and actually read it sometime. If I found a pamphlet on my windshield, I'd probably just throw it away.

We could start by gathering all the articles written about Ron Paul. I don't know if we could actually print the articles in the pamphlet though, might have to check copy right laws. It would be a start to gather all the information first though. We should definitely add something about voting and if this right is so important why do we not get a receipt? You get one if you purchase a stick of gum but we have no paper trail of our votes? Heck, even the Iraqis got purple fingers. We should advocate paper ballots for all elections and maybe a carbon copy receipt you can take with you to prove your vote counted. I think that would find tremendous support out there.

I would also recommend you get the book "No Debate" by George Farah, its a short easy read about how the two party system secretly control our Presidential debates, how they shun popular 3rd party candidates, and what we can do to fix it.

By the way, how many pages are you looking at making this? We certainly have enough info to fill a couple hundred pages, but the hard part woud be to cut that down to the essential parts. Even 100 pages might intimidate people. I think the layout of the pamphet should be fun and modern, someone said a comic book would probably work best. That might just be what is needed, something simple and easy to digest. They used a comic book to teach soldiers how to clean their M16 rifle in the Vietnam war with success. We should include pictures, funny cartoons, fun and interesting quotes. If you have ever seen any of the books titled "The Complete Idiot's Guide To..." Then you know the format that should be used. Speaking of which that makes for a good title "The Complete Idiot's Guide" haha.

Idea: To create a FREE downloadable & printable Magazine or Booklet called “Understanding The Zionist World Conspiracy".


I would like to see us create a Free 40 page (really 10 page) color magazine or booklet that will cover the hardest hitting stories that expose Zionism. The theme of the magazine or Booklet is that “There is a massive Zionist conspiracy going on, whose intent is to destroy all Western governments and their inhabitants.” All the stories should reflect this theme. It is my hope that this inexpensive yet very effective magazine will be downloadable and printable from any color printer. This way there aren’t any stumbling blocks in place preventing us from delivering our message, repeatedly over and over to our unaware citizens. I was thinking that we could print it on 8.5” x 14” paper, which is 3” longer than the common sized paper. We will make it 2 pages per side, or 4 pages per piece of paper, then fold the paper over onto its self, then staple the 10 pages together, which will make a 40 page booklet or magazine.

One way we can accomplish this is by creating it in “Microsoft Word 2003”. To get started one simply has to open up “Microsoft Word 2000 and 2003” then select File > Page Set up> (under the “multiple pages” option, choose “bookfold” > (“Landscape” has now been automatically selected. Under “Landscape” the written text now parallels the LENGLTH of the paper rather than the width. The Printed words will now appear 90 degrees on its side.) Then under the “sheets per booklet” choose “40” pages for our Magazine. Microsoft word automatically takes into account how to print the 4 pages per sheet document, so that it doesn’t get all messed up. (under the "Paper" Tab of "Page Setup" you can select "Legal" as the paper size.) For a test booklet, when printing, choose the “Manuel duplex” option and reload the paper. Later, when printing hundreds of them off, I think it becomes necessary to choose to print the “odd” pages, then flip over your paper and turn it up side down, and then print the “even” pages. No one person has the time to write 38 stories, so why don’t we Paulites volunteer to write a story from the list of topics. I think due to limited space, we need to keep each story @ about 600 words maximum. Each story should be accompanied by an eye pleasing photo, which supports and aids the story.

Costs or Expenses:

1. I believe one can purchase 2500 sheets of 8.5” x 14” quality paper for about $50 bucks. So buy 4 boxes for $200 bucks. (You now have 10 000 sheets of quality paper. $ 50 / 2500 sheets per box = 2 cents per sheet of paper, or spend $ 200 bucks and get 4 boxes, which is 10 000 sheets of paper, which is enough to do 1000 magazines!
2. A new color printer costs about $ 200 bucks.
3. A long arm stapler for $ 40 bucks
4. 2000 staples = for about 20 bucks?

In Summary:

Most people have a printer already so:

Paper = $ 200
Stapler = $ 40
2000 Staples = $ 20
Lots of Extra Ink to refill printer cartridges = $100 dollars?


Total = $ 360 Dollars

So $ 360 / 1000 = 36 cents per magazine. But hey, you get a fancy stapler out of the deal. Plus you get the satisfaction that you are doing something to help your country. If teams of two were to work hard, I anticipate you could get your 1000 copies printed, folded, stapled and handed out in 4 weeks. Now if a 1000 teams of two work together to complete their 1000 copies, we could get out 1 MILLION copies! 1000 teams x 1000 copies = 1 000 000 magazines handed out to our naïve public. (With only 2000 participants) This activity would probably make the news, and it would wake up perhaps ½ of the people that read the material. So what do you guys think? Who wants to take part in this activity which will make a difference? With a united effort we could accomplish a great deal.

For the time being each story gets one page devoted to it, so I believe it has to be about 600 words with the font size being set at 10 and written in “Times New Roman”[/b]. So we have to use our words very effectively. Make sure to include the most powerful website addresses that support the story. Each story should be accompanied by a powerful photo, for “A picture describes a thousand words” and it makes the story more visually pleasing. I think the text should appear in 2 columns per page (really half page) format. (With the "spacing" set at "0.2" inches.) The photo should occupy about 1/3 – ½ of one of the columns. I think the margin should be set to 1/2 an inch all the way around. Perhaps the Footer could be set at 0.4 of an inch from the edge. I don't think a Header is necessary. It may be best to find yourself a Booklet in your house somewhere, so that you can get an idea of what it would look like. Seeing as there are 40 pages, I could use a hand from 40 Paulites to speed this process up. Hopefully we can complete this project within 10 weeks. If you feel you are up to the job, please volunteer and post which topic you are going to research and write about.

So I was thinking the articles would be about 600 words long each. This would leave enough room for one square picture which would occupy 1/3 of one column. So each article writer gets 600 words and 1 picture to be placed on their one page of the booklet. Similar to the picture above. We could make the booklet 40 pages long. (Really just 10 pages folded over. Remember each piece of "Legal" sized paper, which is 7 1/2" x 14" is really 4 pages.)

I've been agitating on creating a Platform 'Comic Book' now since the end of January, beginning of March. We have 4 years to make and distribute it. If we can produce 250 million copies of a 'comic book' containing the whole "Liberty Platform" and put it into the hands of every American who will be of voting age in 2012, I have no doubt that it will have a PROFOUND impact.
