    A Tolkien Geeks analogy

    This has probably been done but:

    All that is gold does not glitter, (freedom)
    Not all those who wander are lost; (We the people)
    The old that is strong does not wither, (love of liberty)
    Deep roots are not reached by the frost. (Ideals of our founding fathers)
    From the ashes a fire shall be woken, (Revolution)
    A light from the shadows shall spring; (Ron Paul)
    Renewed shall be blade that was broken, (Our Constitution)
    The crownless again shall be king. (We the people)

    We can rekindle the age of men. Let our armies gather in Minneapolis.

    Corny, but it still chokes me up.
    There's a new phrase for honesty, integrity, and common sense in government. It's called "Ron Paulitics"

    Theocrat on the Holocaust and the current 1,000,000+ dead in Iraq:

    You're probably going to hate me for saying this, but that wasn't God's chastisement. It was His sovereign wrath and justice upon those people. Of course, that won't make any sense to you if you fail to understand the doctrine of God's sovereignty. It's a very deep subject, indeed.
    I.E.: Why Christianity is not that great.
