I’d still like an explanation for that from Tucker. Naive? Doing what his bosses wanted? Looking for ratings? Possibly the single biggest back stab in history. Then again, this forum had plenty of people here who constantly brought up the infamous “newsletter”. In context at the time, the entire MSM wanted Ron Paul gone. The neoconservative establishment poisoned Ron Paul’s image before anyone knew a lot about him. Remember Hannity attacking him around the same time?

"Debt is the drug, Wall St. Banksters are the dealers, and politicians are the addicts." - B4L
"Totally free immigration? I've never taken that position. I believe in national sovereignty." - Ron Paul

So did the Beltwaytarians, of which Carlson was firmly entrenched with.

    Now he's openly questioning 9/11.

    Something snapped him out it.

Maybe when angry Marxist mobs showed up at his doorstep and threatened his family?

    ...
Great point. I had forgotten to apply that aspect of it. Makes perfect sense. The beltway libertarians sometimes overlap with the neoconservatives when it comes to whisper campaigns and hidden agendas.

At the end of the day, Carlson, like everyone else except maybe Lawrence Taylor, had to do what his boss tells him to.

I like Tucker but I dont know that he was ever a "full blown" libertarian.

Didnt he slam Ron Paul supporters at one time?

But definitely more legit than Beck.
Tucker has made some mistakes in his past and has owned up to them.

He was very anti-conspiracy theories back in the day, but he has admitted that he was wrong about that. He even had an entire show dedicated to the topic of the CIA assassinating Kennedy.

It's ok to bring up Tucker's past transgressions, but I think they should be put into context that he has changed a lot since then.

I would also agree that he has never been a full blown libertarian. However, he has become extremely anti-establishment, which makes him a very important ally.

His new show on twitter last night has gotten about 70 million views so far. CNN gets a few hundred thousand views on their primetime shows, Tucker used to get maybe a couple million on his Fox show.

"Each of us must choose which course of action we should take: education, conventional political action, or even peaceful civil disobedience to bring about necessary changes. But let it not be said that we did nothing." - Ron Paul

LOL! Past transgressions like being a registered Democrat up until 2020? I'm sorry but it's ridiculous watching some of y'all continue to carry water for lifelong Democrats who suddenly become standard-bearers for the GOP, while the Overton Window continues shifting further and further left. Who is paying you to continue posting this nonsense?

I wish they paid me as much as Tucker gets paid for producing segments on the CIA assassinating Kennedy...

Oh wait, they fired him for that..

How much do you get paid for painting all the white pills black?

Thank you for the confirmation. It was the only logical conclusion because I otherwise refuse to believe you would accidentally continue to be this dumb, almost 8 years later.
