    Default Republican Super-delegates?

While watching the election last night I noticed that McCain was given superdelegates...I hear alot about this on the Demo side...Does it work the same way with the Republican side? Can they override and sway the election over the nominated delegates?

There are three party hacks in each state that are automatically delegates. They aren't technically "Super" delegates.

They just call them superdelagates on the tv so that people don't look up what the difference between republican and democrat delegate system.
Makes it easier for people to understand but not really honest.

What outlet uses the term superdelegate for unpledged RNC members? I don't think I've ever heard it on CNN, FOX, or NBC. Can't say I ever watch ABC.
