I like the idea of the Constitution ratified - ...
Politics ought to be the part-time profession of every citizen who would protect the rights and privileges of free people and who would preserve what is good and fruitful in our national heritage. –– Dwight D. Eisenhower

Definitely June 21st. The kids are out of school, and so is my wife (she's a teacher). The weather is great in D.C. around that time. Could be warm, but probably not hot. It's also a Saturday which makes it easier for a lot of people to attend.

No matter what day is chosen, I'll be there. It's only a 2 hour drive for me.

June 21st is perfect. Everyone is out of School. Anything sooner and a LOT of people won't be able to make it.

April 19th is also day of the Waco massacre and OK City bombing. Any enough to assemble would put Feds on super high alert.

Isn't April 19th the day the Manifesto comes out? I think it should be one week after that so we can all show up waiving our copies!

EDIT - sorry April 30th is the day... how about May 3rd?

April 19th is also the day the gold standard was dealt a mortal blow in 1933.

We the people in order to form a more perfect union and
honor the ratifying of the Constitution two hundred and
twenty one years ago by our founding fathers as the creation
of a base law for our federal government of the United States of America,
do ordain and establish a peaceful march on Washington D.C.
Saturday June 21st, 2008 in order to re-establish the principles
of Peace and Liberty that once we held high and to demonstrate
that Americans want a government that is governed by the people,
for the people, and in the best interests of the general welfare.
