They played a piece on California switching to mostly paper ballots. It was the most crafted story I've ever heard. I can't believe the state of our media! Even "public" broadcasting. They didn't mention the F word at all. They gave the impression that the machines left paper trails. There was one random quote "okay, and now I'll verify my vote, and print out the paper..." They made it seem like it was a pointless waist of paper to actually be able to count the ballots.

Then they went on to talk about how voters aren't concerned with issues, while not covering any issues. It was the first time I listened to them in a while. Critical analysis seemed to stop when Glen Mitchel died, for no apparent reason. I'm not trying to start any conspiracy theories. I just remember the good old days.
