Yeah, just grab the URL to the .swf file and GET it with a program (like wget) that won't try to display it. The URL can be found by using 'view source' on the page.

that site will tell you everything you need and download the video for you.. check it out

the output will be in flv format so you will have to convert that to something that your compilation program can manipulate. -links are on there..

    good luck

if you use firefox, the "video downloader" add on works well for youtube and google video type sites. Other sites, like news sites, there are programs that record the stream, like WM Recorder: http://www.wmrecorder.com/demo.htm

    Copying Google & Youtube

I bought a program for $14.99 that works like a charm called Quivic. http://www.wideanglesoftware.com/quivic/index.html

Hope this helps if you haven't already figured it out for yourself.

It's really not necessary to buy anything. I would suggest making sure you have the appropriate codecs installed.

This site works pretty well, and if it's a google video url (as opposed to youtube) it even gives you an option to save the high-res file:

Best tool i've found, converts video automatically to avi or mpg. free

    http://comunidad.uem.es/epuertas/pos...video-y-grinvi

VDownloader is a download manager for video sharing sites such as YouTube, Google Video, Grinvi and DailyMotion. Given the URL for a video clip, it downloads the clip and automatically converts it to AVI, MPEG or PSP. It supports batch downloading and clipboard monitoring.

    Cool YouTube Downloader

I use the Cool YouTube Downloader. Itīs free and super easy to use. You just have to copy and paste the URL from your browser into the window and press "download". Itīs never failed me yet.
