Dear Friends of Ron Paul,
If anyone still doubts that the media pundits and talking heads and “debate” moderators are totally biased against Ron Paul, take a look at this analysis I made of last night’s “debate.”
Total speaking time allowed to all candidates: 66 minutes
Number of questions and speaking time allowed each candidate:
Romney 12 questions; 20.58 minutes
McCain 12 questions; 13.78 minutes
Giuliani 11 questions; 13.6 minutes
Huckabee 8 questions; 12.17 minutes
Ron Paul 5 questions; 6.55 minutes
The number of questions, of course, includes the question each candidate was allowed to ask another candidate. Most of the candidates used a full minute of speaking just to ask their question. Ron Paul used 30 seconds to ask a question of John McCain (which he never answered, indicating he didn’t even know what Ron was talking about).
None of the others asked Ron a question, so that reply time was lost.
Ron should have asked himself and used the full two and a half minutes or more…the enforcement of time limits was pretty sloppy by the moderators.
Most of the other candidates consistently exceeded the limit by 30 per cent or more.
In the first segment, Ron spoke for 1:40; 0:45; and 0:28.
In the second segment, Ron spoke for 0:30 asking his question of McCain
In the third segment, Ron spoke for 1:30 and 1:40.
I was surprised to see that Romney edged out Ron in the text messaging poll: 41 per cent to Ron’s 40 per cent. All the others were way down in single digits or so.
For the Republic and Ron Paul for President,
