Default Kucinich wanted Ron Paul as Running Mate

When Kucinich was still in the race he said he preferred Ron Paul as running mate:

Who knows... perhaps Kucinich will endorse Ron Paul, which will show the pundits that Ron Paul is also popular among democrats; something which is rarely being spoken about.

I know, I've had that video in my signature for a long time. To bad there are so many Kucinich bashers on the forums who call him a commie gun grabber and don't take enough time to actually study him (this is the same problem with have with people who don't support Ron Paul b/c they think he's a racist truther).

I may not agree with him on the role of government. But I have always respected the guy for many of the same reasons I respect Paul. It sucks that many talk poorly of him for superficial reasons.

Default If Ron Paul will take on Kucinich for VP

He will win the support of many Kucinich people. He should do it now!!

What Kucinich people? Seriously, he had negligible public support (sadly).

Hey - an extra 6% from the Dem's?

And you have to keep in mind that 6% of the dem. vote is about 20% of the Republican vote. (Didn't do the math - general idea to emphasize point)

    It's not negligible.

Look at the total number of voters on both sides.

New Hampshire - Hillary and Obama both beat McCain by over 30,000 votes.

Edwards was really close to McCain.

I'll take 6% of the democratic vote - ESPECIALLY during the primaries!

    Scratch NH.

    I can't do math.
Or remember what happened apparently (or the numbers got switched.)

Still - he had more support than Dodds or Gravel.
    And every vote helps.

I was being nice to Kucinich people for the last week. The writing was on the wall when he lost the court case appeal to be in the debate. Man NBC is ruthless.

If the persons main thing is getting out of the war these two are a good match even though different parties.

    We welcome anyone and everyone.

I can't tell you how many people I've spoken to here in Oregon that I thought would like Ron Paul but were, instead, Kucinich supporters.
