Barack Obama expected to urge Congress to arm Syrian opposition

In an address to Americans, President Barack Obama will outline an expanded military and political effort to combat Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS), and urge Congress to quickly give him authority to arm Syrian opposition forces.
Why so quick? whats the matter? It seems things in Syria arent going as planned. I just hope this Hell hole that you Americans whom want a war is going to bite right back at ya.

Arming the FSA is not a wise decision.
But either way enjoy the hell. It seems your idiotic childish politicians haven't learned from either past nor Libya as McCain claims whats happening in Libya is the result of leading from behind?

Whats happening is due mainly from your intervention and not because ur leading from behind.

What you Americans expected in Libya? an reopening area of bases? puppet to run your oil for Saudi Arabia in return, this is getting sick and your leaders are such laughable sorry excuse of human flesh. They arent even acting like Human, more like spoiled brats

Well, it's not like arming ISIS was a wise decision.

Historically, I don't think wisdom and rampant imperialism have ever gone hand in hand.

FSA will sell the weapons to ISIS for cash, you heard it here first.

Had being following the conflict since 2011 and did you know the Moderate FSA as the MSM claims have being using Drugs to enhance there fighting abilities as the majority of the drugs were sized by the Syrian forces in the North of Syria.

As such an Iranian press TV reporter was killed just for reporting the truth on it killed by a sniper. Ironic on whom America's gov would want to arm itself with.
The Moderate rebels have being using Child Soldiers.

So this means NeoCons support the use of Child Soldiers in conflicts.

    Opposition? So Assad? Or ISIS?

Im honestly confused, who else is there?
    The more prohibitions you have,
the less virtuous people will be.
    The more weapons you have,
the less secure people will be.
    The more subsidies you have,
the less self-reliant people will be.

    Therefore the Master says:
I let go of the law,
    and people become honest.
    I let go of economics,
    and people become prosperous.
    I let go of religion,
    and people become serene.
I let go of all desire for the common good,
and the good becomes common as grass.

This could probably be considered an act of treason.

There is too many for me to type out here, there are 50+ different groups fighting for power right now in Syria, here are some more notable ones:

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of...r#Generic_list

A number of them are also listed by the United States as Groups designated as Foreign Terrorist Organizations including for example the Kurds YPG/PKK/KGK which were the ones that helped the Christians evacuate to Syria and parts of Kurd controlled Iraq.

Trust me the deeper you dig into this, the more gray areas you are going to find, getting involved isn't going to turn out well.

    Yea, would not be surprised.

Wait, wasn't sending arms to these groups one of the main factors in the rise of ISIS? So, let's make it easier for them to get even more weapons? I'm pretty confused.

Will the local mujahideens/foreign fighters "rebels" waging their Jihad against Christian friendly Syrian government in the name of Allah as was the case with jihad engineered in Afghanistan with US/Saudi/Israeli support?

Syria strategy 2.0: Obama to hit reset to counter growing ISIS threat

    Published September 10, 2014

One year to the day since addressing the American people about possible strikes against the Assad regime in Syria over its chemical weapons attack, President Obama is coming back to the American people with a drastically different -- and strategically complex -- plan to combat a drastically different enemy.

The target this time is not the Assad government, but the Islamic State, which has in the year since Obama's last address evolved into Assad's most formidable enemy -- as well as a threat to the Iraq government and the West.

The result could be Obama's trickiest task yet in the Middle East.
Going after the Islamic State, or ISIS, in Syria would be a boost for Assad's efforts to retain power. Yet the administration is trying to counteract that by aligning with moderate opposition groups.
