Turkey ordering troops into Syria to fight against the scourge of......the Kurds?

    http://www.thedailybeast.com/article...g-the-war.html

In a speech last Friday, Erdogan vowed that Turkey would not accept a move by Syrian Kurds to set up their own state in Syria following gains by Kurdish fighters against the so-called Islamic State, or ISIS, in recent weeks. “I am saying this to the whole world: We will never allow the establishment of a state on our southern border in the north of Syria,” Erdogan said. “We will continue our fight in that respect whatever the cost may be.” He accused Syrian Kurds of ethnic cleansing in Syrian areas under their control.

Following the speech, several news outlets reported that the president and Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu had decided to send the Turkish army into Syria, a hugely significant move by NATO’s second biggest fighting force after the U.S. military.
No Kurdish state allowed but a 'jihadist caliphate' is all good? They're not even trying to hide the absurdity of this 'ISIS' nonsense anymore.

    Occam's razor.

After Rand made his statement about arming the Kurds, the CIA and international intelligence agencies decided to secretly arm the Kurds so that they could make gains against ISIS and use it as an opportunity to claim their own state amid the chaos. This would create conflict and they could use it to attempt to deceive Rand into choosing interventionist policies overseas.

Rand will some how foil their plan and outsmart them. Again.

The US-government-media complex doesn't quite have the control in Turkey that they do in the US. They can't get Turkey to be concerned about ISIS, but Turkey has it's own interests. Plus Erdogan and his buddies probably think that they would eventually be in charge of a new Caliphate.

This only helps 'ISIS', which obviously makes no rational sense if 'ISIS' is the global curse that it is claimed to be. Turkey is a NATO puppet. The goal is still to use 'ISIS' as the cover for regime change and territorial control of Syria.

Turkey is conflicted. They don't want ISIS to take over but they are also worried about the Kurds having too much success militarily. The Kurds have lived in portions of Iraq, Syria, and Turkey and would like to establish an independent country (or at least be independent somehow). Military worked for the Kurds in Iraq and they are now making progress in Syria. If that succeeds, Turkey is nervous that war there may be next. Turkey has been allowing free movement of people, aid, and weapons into Syria- most of it going to ISIS. But now the Kurds have taken over the border crossing areas cutting that off and are working their way deeper into Syria.

In the '90s I flew " Provide Comfort" missions to protect the Kurds from Saddam's military forces, but had my hands were tied as the Turks flew Provide Discomfort as they bombed the Kurds.

Map of Kurdish areas. The Kurdish region in Iraq has been the most stable and successful part of that country. Areas in Syria have been changing- this map says data is from 2000. Related article is from a year ago.

Rumors of Turkish military massing near the Syrian border. The Kurds are the only fighting force that is standing up to 'ISIS' so NATO puppet Turkey will step in to distract the Kurds while 'ISIS' heads on toward Damascus. Win-win for the intelligence agencies, keep the 'ISIS' lie going while further suppressing the Kurdish state movement.

ISTANBUL—Turkish jets attacked Islamic State positions in Syria for this first time early Friday as security forces launched nationwide dawn raids against the group’s network, underscoring a major shift by Ankara to more directly confront the jihadists following deadly attacks that killed dozens of civilians and soldiers this week.
