So let's keep it simple: The Saudi's supported the 9/11 hijackers, and the official Bush Administration's response was to attack the Saudi's enemy, Saddam Hussein.

I was a kid on 9/11 but I remember reading that the Saudis were trained in Germany for the attack. Later I read that the perp IDs that were found belonged to guys that were alive and well in the ME and were wondering WTH was going on. And then, of course, airplanes being ordered to stand down and Dubya continuing his reading to some school kids, as he heard the news.
