Rand Paul: Trump's Plans Violate First Amendment, Geneva Conventions

Front-runner Donald Trump's plans as president would require a repeal of the First Amendment and the Geneva Conventions, Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul said in Tuesday's GOP presidential debate.

"Closing the Internet" to fight terrorism is a violation of the First Amendment while killing the families of terrorists requires America pulling out of the Geneva Conventions that ban the purposeful targeting of civilians, he said.

"So, they could kill us, but we can't kill them?" Trump shot back. "That's what you're saying. As far as the Internet is concerned, we're not talking about closing the Internet. I'm talking about parts of Syria, parts of Iraq, where ISIS is."

Trump: so, they can kill us [our families,] but we can't kill them [their families.] That's what you're saying.

They confronted me in the day of my calamity, but the Lord was my support.

Definitely a violation of the Geneva convention. Bastard.

In B4 kahless explains to us how it is Trump, not Rand, that stands for what "the Pauls" advocate. (We're just too blockheaded to see it).

    H. L. Mencken said it best:

“Democracy is the theory that the common people know what they want, and deserve to get it good and hard.”

"As democracy is perfected, the office of president represents, more and more closely, the inner soul of the people. On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron."

    Trump is right.

They can kill civilians, but we cannot. That's the $#@!ing difference between us and them.
    In New Zealand:
    The Coastguard is a Charity
Air Traffic Control is a private company run on user fees
The DMV is a private non-profit
Rescue helicopters and ambulances are operated by charities and are plastered with corporate logos
The agriculture industry has zero subsidies
5% of the national vote, gets you 5 seats in Parliament
A tax return has 4 fields
    Business licenses aren't a thing
    Prostitution is legal
We have a constitutional right to refuse any type of medical care
