Ron's interviews with alternative media are the best.
He talks about how it's not 1875 and ending the fed and going back on the gold standard cannot be achieved politically...he mentioned eliminating legal tender laws and taxation on gold and silver
So if he took over today, is that all he would do? It's a lot better than what we have now, but not exactly ending the fed or returning to gold.
My guess is that he feels it is hopeless and the best we can do now is make it easy for people to prepare for the worst.
