The U.S. is at last facing the neocon captivity

It appears Barack Hussein Obama medicine has been only mildly effective in changing Republican neocons wars attitudes if below report is confirmed:

The U.S. is at last facing the neocon captivity

The best thing about this political moment in the U.S. (if not for the good people of Iraq) is that the rise of ISIS and the Republican candidates’ embrace of the Iraq war is posing that deep and permanent question to the American public, Why did we invade Iraq?
Last night Chris Matthews asked that question again and David Corn said it was about the neoconservative desire to protect Israel. Both men deserve kudos for courage. Here’s part of the exchange:

I wouldn't call Matthews courageous. Where was he when this was all being said for years?

Better late than never I guess. General Electric (MSNBC) must not be profiting as much from the ISIS war this time around.

MSNBC was strongly antiwar until Obama got in the Whitehouse. Now instead of talking about loss of liberties, banker bailouts, illegal wars, bad economy and lack of jobs, they now talk about replacing a gay person's right to marry with a priviledge to get an expensive divorce, how to get illegal aliens more jobs that aren't there, and how hateful your republican neighbor is.

    FOX News is equally irrelavant.

There is no such thing as a "neocon", says three neoconservatives on a neoconservative show who are ganging up on Kirsten Powers...

"Foreign aid is taking money from the poor people of a rich country, and giving it to the rich people of a poor country." - Ron Paul
"Beware the Military-Industrial-Financial-Pharma-Corporate-Internet-Media-Government Complex." - B4L update of General Dwight D. Eisenhower
"Debt is the drug, Wall St. Banksters are the dealers, and politicians are the addicts." - B4L
"Totally free immigration? I've never taken that position. I believe in national sovereignty." - Ron Paul

    It's mostly an act.

Legendary talk show host Phil Donahue appeared on HuffPostLive Thursday to talk about his firing from MSNBC, the media's role during the Iraq War, and his fraught relationship with Chris Matthews.
Donahue was a rare anti-war voice on television during the run-up to the war, but he was fired in early 2003, even though his show was a highly rated one on the network. A leaked memo later revealed that NBC executives considered him a "difficult public face for NBC in a time of war."
As it turned out, one of the people reportedly pushing for Donahue to leave was Chris Matthews.

Didn't General Electric sell MSNBC to Comcast?

    No they weren't.

I'll never forget Chris matthews Bushgasm during Bush's "mission accomplished" landing.

No media was ever really anti-war. the best it did was criticize the way the war was executed, but never whether it should have been done in the first place.
