Obama's brother sells 1995 letter that reflects president's early views

NAIROBI, Kenya, June 28 (UPI) -- In less than two years, President Barack Obama will leave the White House -- having reached the highest political mountaintop twice. Twenty years ago, though, he hadn't even entered politics yet and had no idea of the peaks his future would see.
A letter written in 1995 by Obama for his half-brother, Malik Obama in Kenya, was recently sold with a copy of a manuscript of the president's first book, Dreams From My Father. In it, Obama expressed a very early interest in possibly running for office -- something he would do at the state, then federal level before becoming commander-in-chief.

An anonymous collector purchased Malik's letter, but it wasn't reported how much it sold for. Malik has previously sold two other handwritten letters from Obama for $15,000 each, the Post report reported.

There is no question that Barack Obama’s political career…recorded in word…deed and video…leaves no question that he has been…and is…a habitual liar.
For one to deny that is simply living a lie themselves.
We have one option and that is to survive the next 20 months…begin to repair the damages inflicted by this horrific tenure of Barack Hussein Obama…learn our lesson from this experience…and never be found guilty of repeating something of this magnitude…and this egregious…ever again.

NEW YORK – After making “a very big deal” of them in his autobiographical book and in his first campaign for the White House, President Obama has cynically abandoned members of his African family, charged half-brother Abongo “Roy” Malik Obama, who was the best man in the president’s wedding.

“He says one thing and he does another,” said Malik Obama, speaking from his home in Kisumu, Kenya, via Skype with filmmaker Joel Gilbert.
“He’s not been an honest man, as far as I’m concerned, in who he is and what he says and how he treats people,” Malik said of his half-brother, noting their relationship was once “very close.”
