It's popular now because the link that goes to "The Prophet" on Time Magazine's website features this time video in a window to the immediate left of the story. Because the article is subscription only, many people inevitably click on the interview to watch instead. So what this means is tons of new people were exposed to RP for the first time through this interview from two years ago. That's very good news, because this is one of his greatest performances.
