The Constitution
by Charles Burris
The Constitution of the United States, as adopted and intended by the Framers at Philadelphia in 1787, (and later ratified in the various state conventions), created a decentralized limited federal republic of free and sovereign independent states with specific enumerated powers delegated to the general government, with all other powers retained by the states and the people.

But later a Mr. Lysander Spooner would disagree: No Treason No 1; No Treason No. 2; and No Treason No 6.

After you've read "No Treason" above, I suggest this article. Spooner's contention that the Constitution is not valid is a strong one, and I agree with it, but the matter still goes deeper. Did the Constitution actually create a new form of tyranny, worse than existed before?
