Anyone else get this and listen to it? It's ultimately a sales pitch for investment research but he brings up many troubling issues in an armogeddon type scenario:

I'm trying to determine how he is viewed in the marketplace... if anyone knows.

I watched it. Good info. I stopped watching it when he started to sell stuff and info tease. If you do some simple research you'll find that agriculture farmland is the #1 asset to own. It allows you to self sustain.
I'm farming. It's amazing how much can be produced on a smaller piece. I'm counting on beets to be in demand.
stansberry lost a significant judgment to the SEC. His defense his here http://dailyreckoning.com/why-the-se...u-should-care/ but I found the comments more telling. Basically, I think Stansberry is a snake-oil salesman.

I bought a subscription to their Resource Report. Their recommendations are pretty good. Great thing is I can go back and look at their stock picks from previous monthly reports for several years and compare it with historical stock charts, and they've been pretty good at picking winners. I picked up some stock in a couple of their recommendations and have been pleased thus far. They will, however, tease you with possibilities of making enormous ROI by signing up for some of the more expensive subscriptions.
If you're looking for some pretty good recommendations for free, then take a look at www.stockgumshoe.com
Those guys take the clues from teaser stock spam and figure out what stocks certain publications are promoting. They keep track of all of the picks so you can see which advisory firms have some of the best recommendations.
But, always do your own Due Diligence! Happy Trading!!!
I don't. If they did, I'm sure some of their older clients would have noticed. Regardless, their business model hinges on their ability to make sound stock recommendations, otherwise no one would ever use their service.
