Michigan State Education Conference Separates ‘White Folx’ and ‘People of Color’

An upcoming conference at Michigan State University, titled, “Spring Conference on Teaching, Learning and Student Success,” will feature “affinity groups” that segregate participants by skin color.

According to a university email, “There will be an affinity group for white folx and an affinity group for people of color.”

“Affinity (or caucus) groups provide spaces for people to work within their own identity groups,” read to an email sent to event attendees.

The university went on to say that such racial segregation will “advance racial equity,” adding, “there is work for white people and people of color to do separately and together.”

“There will be an affinity group for white folx and an affinity group for people of color,” the email states.

Regarding the segregated groups, the university explained that “for white people, an affinity group provides time and space to work explicitly and intentionally on understanding white culture and white privilege and to increase one’s critical analysis around these concepts.”

“For people of color, a caucus is a place to work with peers to address the impact of racism, to interrupt experiences of internalized racism, and to create a space for healing and working for individual and collective liberation,” the email adds.

In response to Breitbart News’ request for clarification on whether the racially segregated conference could be in violation of the school’s own anti-discrimination policy, a Michigan State spokesperson said that “this optional activity established for the Academic Advancement Network’s Spring Conference was not intended to be discriminatory.”

“Nonetheless, we regret the impact the invitation had on some,” the spokesperson added.

“We are examining and updating the format of the two optional facilitated discussions to be more inclusive,” the spokesperson said. “All conference participants are welcome to attend either discussion and we are no longer inviting individuals to join based on identity. Additional information will be shared with attendees soon.”

“Our institution values diversity and inclusiveness and continues to steadfastly work to create a more welcoming campus for all,” the spokesperson added.

Unfortunately, the solution to things like this is not pointing out how morally, ethically, or logically wrong their actions are. Also, the solution is not organizing to have a voice in matters like this as some form of collective bargaining. There is no bargaining with people that desire your disenfranchisement and feel entitled to it.

Is folx like latin-x?

I asked a friend of mine from my days in the Marines who is of Mexican ancestry if he is no longer Latino, but Latin-x. He told me what I could do with myself in the colorful language that former service men are known to use.

If you are white and you object to being identified as "white folx" then you are clearly a participant in and supporter of White Supremacy, White Voyeurism, White Privilege, or (at the very least) White Benefit.

Well at least I'm no fan of White Noise, which is what all this static reminds me of.

I know a great many people who have voted mostly Democrat for years, who just scratch their heads over this noise.

Are there leftists who want to kill us? Of course. Always have been. Always have been right wingers who want to kill them, too. My view from actually interacting with them is those percentages haven't changed. They're both still tiny numbers, as always.

They've got us working from home, getting our groceries delivered, reading and watching microtargeted news sites which are all propaganda and only ever point their microphones at the most extreme five percent of the "left" and five percent of the "right". The other ninety percent aren't even allowed to go to church and sit next to each other, and learn their hearts are in the right place, even if their heads aren't.

If civil war comes, it'll be because the vast middle got suckered into believing the most insane ten percent of the population have somehow grown like The Blob.

I don't presume to know what percentage of the population is composed of illiberal authoritarians (and their various fellow travelers) - and whatever that quantity may be, I don't know, from among them as a whole, what the ratio of left-socialists to right-fascists is, either. However, I am skeptical that that ratio is quite as tidily equal as you make it out to be. I rather suspect that the right-fascist variety is outnumbered by the left-socialist variety, perhaps significantly so.

But even granting an even ratio, the left-socialists are at the moment a much greater existential threat [1] than the right-fascists. It doesn't really matter that their numbers might be equal when one side has ten pawns and the other side has ten queens. Indeed, ten pawns would be outmatched even by just two or three queens in the right places. Power and position are what matters, not mere quantities. Whatever their relative numbers, the vanguard of illiberal left-socialist authoritarianism (bearing the standards and tokens of the Woke) increasingly dominates all three wings of the Cathedral - namely, the executive bureaucracy, the corporate media, and the universities & education system. Even if equal in number, the illiberal right-fascist authoritarians can field no force to compare to this.

And that the overwhelming majority of people are not illiberal authoritarians (nor among their various fellow travelers) is of little or no account. The bulk of the masses are inert ballast. They will eat whatever is put on their plates. Feed them tyranny (left or right), and they will eat it - they may grouse and grumble about it, but they will eat it. Feed them liberty, and they will eat it - they may grouse and grumble about it, but they will eat it. Wherever their hearts may be, sheep will graze whatever pasture they find themselves in. That's what makes them sheep. Just ask Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn.

As for the distinction between Democrats and Republicans (to the extent that there even is one), the only Democrats and Republicans that really matter are the ones with actual power - and by and large, they aren't so much ideologically illiberal authoritarians as they are mere establishmentarian opportunists looking to exploit and capitalize on the strife and division engendered by the real illiberal authoritarians. At present, the most critical distinction is between the illiberal left-socialist authoritarians (of whatever party or faction) and everyone else. The power of the former is increasing apace (unlike that of the illiberal right-fascist authoritarians), and should they achieve victory, the Bidens, McConnells, Pelosis, and other partisan hacks will be among the first to be (figuratively or literally) lined up against the wall.

I don't talk in terms of "genocide" or the like myself, and I think Michael Malice states it quite well when he says, "they want you dead but will settle for your submission." Nonetheless, it may be, as some can and do assert, that they will take matters well beyond mere submission. But submission to illiberal authoritarians (of any variety) is by itself quite bad enough. The prospect of gulag does not need the promise of the grave to make it any more objectionable.

It would actually be convenient, as at the white people meeting, future oppression can be planned, and Nancy Pelosi will send out someone to distribute the secret quarterly white people spoils. It has been a good year, and Pelosi has promised that this quarter’s white people plunder share (WPPS) will be the largest in decades. Yeah Stimulus!

White this white that. Are White Castle hamburgers still a thing? Ironic that it was the fast food joint in town most preferred by the colored folx. Why were White Castle hamburgers so terrible, yet so addictive? And the turkey and cheese? What dark arts (oops!) were used in their making?
