Why even bother saying that? Lewinsky was an adult, it's not like she was a 9 year old child. Additionally, he was the president, for crying out loud; that's probably the most powerful position in the world. Saying his position makes him a predator in this case would literally make him a predator in any sexual encounter, including one with his effing wife.
Way to perpetuate the banal, insipid left-right paradigm. Freedom! Or something.
hi, read?
or maybe to perpetuate your workout trainer, genius, how about you spend more time reading the article than busy sharpening your english on this forum? he was responding to the notion that democrats are a favor to women in general and conservatives are for some reason accused of waging a war on women. i am not saying it's the best response or example he could have come up with, but really, idiotic response like yours is what's forcing those like me to make it appear we are 1568% behind every nuance of speech rand gives, shit honestly, take your foot off the stupidity pedal and give us a break, would like to do something else other than pointing out the obvious once in a while, no seriously

and i don't know why someone hasn't linked the video while the spin articles are here, really.. look at this interview, since rand getting into the top on polls now people start interviews by calling rand extreme and attacking ron paul to start a conversation, and we have to deal with this shit here while fighting those kind of narrative on the other end. well what am i complaining, morons here are already declared enemies pretty much anyway, 2 front war it is, get used to it.
The only reason I'm responding to this is to further emphasize that Rand Paul is giving credence to the ultra-feminist, everything-is-rape-culture garbage permeating any examination of social structures in modern times. There is literally nothing to be gained in declining to fight against such narratives, and potentially much to be lost in actively strengthening them instead. The idea of western society being wholly a product of 'rape culture' is rank collectivism at best, and a sinister, Marxist tactic of bringing about the total state at worst.
I thought Rand was going to be referring to Juanita Broaddrick and not Lewinsky when he made this statement.

It's getting close to election time where the Clintons need to be knocked down a few notches. Reminding the public of slick willy's way with the women is one way to do it.
haven't even gotten to the savings and loans yet.. just swinging in the batter's box right now.
david gregory actually softened up near the end, from his body language he actually warmed up to rand paul during the back and forth and the awkward smirk is because he didn't want to really go sour with rand where unlike ron david probably wouldn't have felt any reluctance at all. it's kinda interesting how people can realize rand is a force to be reckoned with just by a 10 minute conversation
oh by the way, just managed to hit the 12:50 remark to realize that actually his wife had made that quote about predatory behavior, david gregory subsequently brought it up, that's the context of how this was mentioned, so i guess the spartan workout dude is even more retarded than i thought
It's a nice little jab but it has nothing to do with Hillary. No one is saying it was rape, but imagine in a private business if the CEO is caught with an intern in the office? I guess Rand might as well take advantage of the situation to defend women. It's something that women can relate to, or at least something they might be concerned about the possibility of a sticky situation at work. It's politically smart if you can bait your opponents into looking bad for attacking you.
The headline should be, "Rand Paul vigorously defends his wife's comments".
To me, that was the real impact of his statement. Kelly expressed her feelings about Bill Clinton and when asshat Gregory brought it up to tarnish Rand, Rand took the question and batted it out of the park. Rand is on a one-man operation to change the electorate of the Republican party. Woo hoo. And it appears, lately, like the RNC is following him.
Ha ha, I love it. Rand has some guts to say that.
//
Woah, wasn't expecting this at all.
Rand brought a gun to a knife fight. Good for him because he's going to need it.
he should have brought a cigar

In another sense, this is showing the GOP that they have someone who can fight on Democrat turf and win. This will be extremely popular with the people who donate money to campaigns. You watch Rand's poll numbers over the next few days... Anyone want to bet me?
The women who voted for Bubba twice and elected him POTUS have never seemed too interested in his historic sociopathic abuse of women. Go figure.
BEELZEBUBBA Rapist Bill Clinton

It's all in how it is presented to you that matters. The media did an exception job of presenting that to women in a way got some of them cheering. Rand does a good job of counter-presentation on something like this. The media aren't really sure how to handle it yet - Rand stays one step ahead at most times - but they'll figure it out.
I can't believe Gregory tried to throw Rand into the briar patch... lol. Team Rand is smart enough to put Rand in defense of women. And to do it against Bill Clinton is just genius.
It also ties into Rand's recent support for the sexual assault in the military bill.
http://www.npr.org/blogs/itsallpolit...assault-debate
Quote:
Republican Tea Party Sens. Rand Paul of Kentucky and Ted Cruz of Texas stood with liberal Democratic Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand, endorsing her bill that would dramatically change how military sexual assault cases are reported and prosecuted
I just watched this again and damn this was good. This is how I heard the whole interview the second time. (Italics are the voices in his head.)
Gregory - "you're an extreme fringe"
Rand - "Awesomeness"
Gregory - uh oh... try again, "But you're like your Dad"
Rand - "Yeah, my dad is pretty figgin' cool, bro"
Gregory - Oh shit... Cut in, cut in... "Yeah, but tyranny?"
Rand - "yup. Aren't you paying attention?"
Gregory - dammit, he did it again... pivot, pivot! "Edward Snowden..."
Rand - cutting in... "Yeah, check yo facts, Jack"
Gregory - Oh shit... he's talking about Clapper. "Yeah, but your party is saying he's a spy"
Rand - "yeah, I don't know enough about it"
Gregory - Damn, nothing's working... try to damage him with women, "Talk about Huckabee"
Rand - "Women are awesome."
Gregory - F**k... ok, try Christie - "Say something stupid about Christie..."
Rand - "Yeah, we got lots of kinds of people in this party"
Gregory - He turned this into Pakistan?? Shit. Alright... we got him now, though..."Monica card!!! Monica card!!!"
Rand - "My wife is awesome, bro. Women are awesome. Why would you defend people taking advantage of young women?"
Gregory - oh no. What did I just let him do?
:)
As long as he doesn't "defend" women like Huckabee did and talk about how birth control for women is somehow analogous to viagra in that you apparently only need it if you're having sex. I'm glad Paul decided not to comment on that because it would be a losing issue for the general if he defended Huck, and a losing issue for the nomination if he rebuked him.
Hah, that is some funny commentary, gotta love Rand Paul.
I mean, he has a really good point, less with the age since she was an adult but especially when you consider his position of power. If Clinton were a Republican then Dems would have buried him on this issue.
