The Reconstruction Era from what I understand is generally considered to be that of a disaster. What could have been some Libertarian policies that would have prevented said disaster?

The after war riff raff list got longer and would be guerillas ,democrats , former slavers , thieves , illiterates , bandits , murderers , cut throats , disgruntled confederates, former slave owners, former treasonous govt officials , lawyers or about 99 percent of the white population that were not preachers , school marms or farmers.
More like Lincoln refusing to remove troops from South Carolina. Then calling up troops to invade the first Confederate states was the catylyst for Virginia and others to get involved.Quote:
