I will be interviewed by Jeanine Pirro at 9:00 P.M. on @FoxNews. Watch @JesseBWatters before and @greggutfeld after. All terrific people. I am in the White House waiting for Cryin’ Chuck and Nancy to call so we can start helping our Country both at the Border and from within!

I wonder what the Pirro and Gutfeld shows are about.

Ron says illegals shouldn't get easy citizenship, I guess that means he thinks that we should control who comes here and only let LEGAL immigrants apply for citizenship.
-
Ron doesn't seem to think that we should be able to just move to Japan without their position, that would seem to indicate that he doesn't think foreigners should be able to do that to us.
-
I guess Ron actually wanted the increased border patrols he said we should have to control who is allowed to come.

He explained what it means - illegals getting amnesty is "easy citizenship", for themselves and their families.
If you are an illegal, you already show yourself to have a lack regard for our sovereignty and our legal system. I dont think they should even be considered for citizenship.
I love how Ron kept the republicans in the socialist discussion, LOL. Ron doesn't let Jesse Watters, or the republicans off the hook...
Remember when the republicans repealed obamacare? Those guys prevailed, and saved us from the socialist democrats. Undoing that evil mess that obama and pelosi left us with. Just in time too, cause pelosi is back, and those meddlesome democrats would have got in the way of a repeal. Yea... socialist, cowardly republicans. They're every bit as bad as the democrats.

My comment was directed to the open borders anarchists who claim that Ron thinks that there shouldn't be a difference between legal and illegal immigration and anyone should just be able to walk across the border and stay here.

No, not as bad, but still pretty bad.

From where I stand, the democrats are socialists, while the republicans are lying socialists.

The Demoncrats are COMMUNISTS and the Swampublicans are lying socialists, there are also some good Republicans but NO good Demoncrats.

A socialist is just someone dreaming of a communist utopia. Socialism is the inevitable progression to communism - in other words, they are one in the same.
There are so few decent republicans that I would be fine with the party going way all together. Maybe then people could get over the electability trap, and quit looking at politics as a binary platform.

One of them wants to impose communism and the other just wants to tinker with the status quo while failing to undo the handiwork of the first one, we are in much worse danger from the first one.

I wouldn't mind that but the Demoncrat party needs to die much more urgently or we are in big trouble.

Without systemic changes we would end up with two parties again after a period of confusion where new parties tried to compete to take the place of the old ones.

I love how Dr. Paul still always stays on message even when the talking heads try to direct and spin the interview.
-
Waters actually asked a good question about the ending the welfare state incentives. Won’t they still come for the cash? As Ron replied, the majority are coming to work and make money. The welfare is often just an added bonus. While many of us want to end the welfare state, it is not the only incentive for illegal immigration.
While the goal of reducing or eliminating the welfare state is always the goal, it will not fix everything. And realistically, it will probably never occur, until the state completely collapses under the weight of it’s debt and inflationary money schemes. That could be a long, long wait.

Ron Paul: “I don’t want free, open borders.”
-
Ron did say “prosecute them” with regard to illegal immigrants jumping the line for citizenship. He also opposes giving citizenship just for coming across the border and giving birth (jus soli).
But no one will ever mention the blatant non-enforcement of employment laws. Some will bring this up when pushing for the real ID and other such measures, but that completely ignores (and almost condones) the fact that the government already knows when there are illegal employees via the Social Security system and SSNs. It’s completely ignored. No new measures are necessary. The real issue is non-enforcement, which is what made this an issue in the first place.

Too bad he's not here to take the spin out of this thread.

Well, somebody listened, instead of just scanning for something to spin.
Well, you know, welfare payments are something the government can control--and without breaking the bank. That makes them quite different from the border. But the same government which doesn't even close those welfare loopholes is the same government being trusted to build a big, overpriced wall with no loopholes. That's the real folly.

Consolidated version
Remove incentives.
No open borders.
We don't owe everyone that comes here a living and job, school, medical care, and the whole works.
Prosecute them!
If people think it is immoral to build a wall what would they think if I said remove Welfare benefits?
How do other countries treat immigrants? Do they welcome them with open arms?
Get out of Syria.

When it comes to the Dems and Pelosi, you must be able to doublethink.
- A wall to stop illegal entry is “immoral”.
- Stealing from the middle class to give to the ultra rich, the crony kleptocrats, the state and the poor is a “moral” obligation.

Sadly Obamacare was not repealed the 'head' of the monster, the mechanism was left intact; the tail' which
is the mandate is just dormant , easily regrown.

Anarchist is a lazy way of attacking libertarians for not wanting to stop fires by setting fires.

I worry about both because the anarchists want to help the socialist invasion.

Agreed, and my point entirely.
The republicans were given congress and the presidency. They failed to repeal because they are (95% of them) socialists pretending to be free market capitalists.

I always thought the socialists were trying to coopt the anarchists into helping them achieve their socialistic goals, but I guess your right it could be a chicken and egg sort of a deal.
