I barely recognize Cruz. But yeah, that line of questioning he pursues is agonizing.
The best Canadian neocon in the US Senate, no question.

She was sketchy on the responses to Rand. This might explain why:
"In 2016, Craft and her husband donated millions of dollars to candidates for the 2016 Republican nomination for president.[15] Prior to donating more than $2 million to Donald Trump's campaign, the couple supported Marco Rubio.[13] Craft and her husband, Joe Craft, have strongly supported Mitch McConnell.[16] McConnell in turn urged Trump to nominate Craft as Ambassador to Canada.[16]"
We have to do something about the bureaucracy although a la Herbert Spencer it's predictable that the type of people drawn to these positions are the type that would advocate for more power:
"Increasing power of a growing administrative organization is accompanied by decreasing power of the rest of the society to resist its further growth and control. The multiplication of careers opened by a developing bureaucracy, tempts members of the classes regulated by it to favour its extension, as adding to the chances of safe and respectable places for their relatives.
