Wayne La Profiteer needs to be in jail.

I have heard similar things. Although I think the timing of it has more to do with the one who broke the story not wanting to give up her job in DC and thus waited until she was no longer employed before announcing it. Also, she should have given it the credibility it deserved by going through an attorney, not posting it as a social media rant. That being said, reading her original post about it made me think it wasn't a setup or some sort of political agenda. She put a lot of thought and effort in to the post, and despite poor choice of timing and medium, it did seem genuine and not some sort of vengeful attack or attempt to bring down the organization. In my experience when people are making baseless allegations they don't put in quite as much thought, effort, and eloquence into their accusations as she did.

If the accusations are true, then that is one thing. If the accusations are not true, then Cliff probably has a huge potential defamation lawsuit against YAL. The problem with these types of accusations is that even if they weren't true they probably had to let him go for perception reasons. If they weren't true and they fired him, my guess is that they gave him a severance with agreement not to sue. Kind of surprised they didn't let him resign.

1- Capitol Police opened the gates and were actively waving people onto the Capitol grounds. 2- If you were not actively destroying anything, stealing anything, or breaking into any place, then you didn't do anything illegal 3- Many places that fire you for simply attending a rally and demonstration could find themselves in legal trouble for defemation 4- Is it clear whether the doors of the Capitol Complex were opened allowing the protestors inside, or did some of the protestors break through the doors? That makes a difference.
