What does that flag represent? A nation bound together by a brilliant constitution? Or a government that sends machines to perform summary executions of its citizens? We aren't burning the flag by crying, "Foul!" The flag is burning, but we aren't doing it. And that is something your orange alpha seems unable or unwilling to address.

Now, I'm going to spell this out so when you make an ass of yourself I don't have to come back and point that out. I'm not talking about nations that would do more evil if they had the wherewithal. Name a nation which can and does wreak more havoc in the world outside its own borders than the U.S. And no, I don't mean by influencing the U.S. like Israel does.

Unique in this era, not throughout history. You don't get to change the subject to all of history, then change it back to only today just to play gotcha games. Not happening.

No, Shyll. I'm merely pointing out that evil is evil. I'm not trying to spin excuses for evil by trying to quantify it. That's your job and I don't want it. First hb34, then me. Why are not-so-passive oh-so-aggressives always accusing others of their own sins? I commit my own sins; there's no call to accuse me of yours.

I didn't see any comment whatsoever about the rest of the world. As for whether the United States government is "a unique malevolent force" in the world, I'd be amused to entertain arguments that it isn't. I'd say anyone who says anything else is either fooling themselves about how malevolent the Deep State is, or is underestimating the U.S.A.

You mean the same post that contained this quote? The same post that indicates partisan government is the main reason why the U.S. of A. is not currently creating the way it once did? Why, yes. Yes, I did. Why do you ask?

This thread seems to have been founded upon a great admiration for the United States of America, and a desire to find a way back to its greatness. And it seems the people working hardest to derail it with bickering are those who suffer from the delusion that a politician could possibly make it great again, even though it clearly became great in spite of politicians. The spin begins. Point your fingers somewhere else, and put that stuff you pull out of your ass in someone else's mouth. I admitted nothing of the sort and you know it (or, at least, the rest of the world does).

Well, evil doesn't surprise me. It exists; it always has. The thing that continues to amaze me is the hypocrisy of those who virtue-signal outrage over it, unless 'their team' is the one perpetuating it. This GOP administration inherited this evil. But I don't see anything being done about it by The Great Swamp Drainers. Rah, rah.

So he's no longer allowed to deplore one rapist, or one group of rapists, or one cataclysm that enabled rapists, without bringing up every rapist everywhere since the beginning of time in laborious detail? You turn a hate of rape (and nearly every other comment you see) into anti-Americanism, but I have a disease?

Air power alone never won a war. Could the USSR have won it without help? Definitely not. Could the U.S. have won it without help? Quite probably, but the price would have been one hell of a lot higher than it was. Why do you think he's a collectivist? Because coopting every accomplishment by every American makes him feel like he does something more useful than playing the obnoxious keyboard warrior 48 hours a week. That's not something an individualist can pull off.

Well of course there is. What reality is this where lobbyists lobby to get laws repealed? Fact is, lobbyists lobby for propositions that pay, like pork barrel projects and laws that make their competition illegal. Hardly free market activities.

The US government refuses to take my American client off a Kill List ------------ https://www.independent.co.uk/voices/trump-syria-drones-kill-list-first-amendment-dni-ukraine-a9127116.html Does the US Constitution allow President Donald Trump to order the assassination of innocent Americans in total secrecy? Such a question seems absurd; unfortunately, a US District judge has just answered in the affirmative. Bilal Kareem is a US citizen of Syrian origin, who was living in Brooklyn and working as a stand-up comedian. Frustrated by the news coverage of the conflict in Syria and especially the failure of journalists to interview and try to understand the experience of the people actually involved in the conflict, Kareem moved to Aleppo and established the YouTube channel On the Ground News TV, which provided content to news outlets around the world.

We created ISIS for the sole purpose of destabilization,, and recruited them throughout Europe (and the US) They (Kurds) have been defending their homes against multiple US backed threats. The US have been using some of them... not protecting them. And now you want to Cheer on the most Brutal Islamic Military force (also US armed) invasion of a sovereign country.

The duplicity from Washington is expected.. as well as the disinformation. We funding White Helmets again? expect more staged videos.

Liberty is lost through complacency and a subservient mindset. When we accept or even welcome automobile checkpoints, random searches, mandatory identification cards, and paramilitary police in our streets, we have lost a vital part of our American heritage. America was born of protest, revolution, and mistrust of government. Subservient societies neither maintain nor deserve freedom for long.
