Been on that bandwagon. It's like a NASCAR stocker. It keeps turning left. It's not going roughly our direction. It's going roughly their direction. And you've admitted that, and said the reason you're constantly trying to shove everyone on that bandwagon like a Tokyo subway people packer is because it's only roughly going their direction. You had better save that grease for your own goalposts.

I dare you to come up with a single quote from this thread that could make that charge stick, that could breathe life into that strawman. There is a process, and it's necessary. You and certain others want everyone to believe Trump can change engine oil without taking out the drain plug, can make an omelet without bothering to break an egg. I hope you'll pardon me for being dubious that the right to cook an omelet means one can wave their hands over three eggs, and get one without so much as touching a whisk. Why? What kept him? I still say the gaping hole in this theory is, there's no possible reason why not one single page came out, not one hint was given that they might come out, except that the person holding all this lovely stuff was, like a blackmailer, still taking bids for his silence.

It is the one seemingly unshakable rule of American politics that the party that flushes the economy down the toilet pays for it in the next election. Of course, that was back when they were so sure neither party would nominate an honest candidate that they felt no need to blatantly monkey with the vote. Now they're playing such psyops that the swinging of the two party pendulum is part of the manipulation.

That would certainly play well in Peoria. One wonders why Chessmaster Trump didn't come right out and say it, if it were true. One would also wonder why we haven't seen one page of it in nineteen months. If you're going to do something like that, procrastination just gives your enemies time to do what was allegedly done--devise a strategy to stop you, and carry it out. I can't imagine a reason to delay, unless one were less interested in turning up the heat and boiling off the swamp, and more interested in convincing someone to pay you not to do it.

Not sure who he based that character on in 1935. He might have been envisioning a young Coolidge. But in our time, that sounds awfully familiar--at least to someone who survived 2008 and 2012.

Has anyone read this Sinclair Lewis classic? I highly recommend it. Everyone talks about how 1984 is the instruction manual. But politically, this book is all that and more. Look at the part I bolded. How to destroy a republic? Give publicity to the communists all out of proportion to their numbers, then sell fascism as the only thing ruthless enough to stop it. You have to give up your freedom to save it. It's the stupidest sentence ever formulated in the English language. And here we all are, watching the idiots all swallowing it hook, line and sinker.

I'm sure it works a damned sight better than any new four-wheeler electric sold in the U.S. because legally, it's a motorcycle. Therefore, no air bags, no monster bumpers that absorb jogging-speed impacts, no side door guard beams, no... Well, the list is very long. But those three items have already saved somewhere between 500 and 1000 pounds.

Most transmissions use Gears.. and though they have not released any Specs,, some can be deduced.. It is ALL Wheel Drive. Shift points are Artificially Software generated,, to the 4 independent motors. Likely Hub Motors. (could use 2 motors and a drive axle, but I think 4 with Performance in mind) Just as the sound is artificially generated.

They aren't so great at hauling freight. But I think they should be brought back for passenger service, for the same reason passenger trains were streamlined. No, not because steamers cut through the air better. As an employee of either the Union Pacific or the Chicago, Burlington & Quincy said to someone who was asking about the finer points of slicing through the air in 1934, streamlining wasn't about wind resistance. It was about reducing customer resistance. You aren't the only person who doesn't much ride trains, but just might if there was a steam-hauled sample handy. What this has to do with Dodges I'm sure I don't know. But I like to share that theory.

These apologists don't seem to care about Congress. They don't even adhere to Nixon's, "If the president does it, then it's not illegal.". They figure that does apply, but only to Republican presidents.

No, dannno, I'm not. It's a ridiculous straw man. I'm not questioning whether the president can declassify material, nor whether he (or she) should be able to. I'm merely asking a tree-falls-in-the-woods question. If he declassifies something and doesn't tell anyone, is it declassified? Do you believe in the rule of law or don't you? I hope you don't go around self-identifying as a libertarian, because you love power much too much. Either everyone in government goes on treating it as secret, which is yet another terrible waste of taxpayer money, or they try to guess what he declassified and let him choose who gets prosecuted or not. Why? Because he's the only person in the world who knows what is, and what is not. And what about historic research? Yes, you may research this history, and keep the citizenry informed. Only you can't, because no one knows that, and won't let you see it. There is no other point I can see to secretly making something not secret but to selectively entrap people. None. So, why are you fervently defending Trump's right to engage in entrapment?

Of course, some of us rather like coal-powered vehicles. It's a funny thing that those who despise coal-powered vehicles the most have the least clue if they're riding in one or not.

Liberty is lost through complacency and a subservient mindset. When we accept or even welcome automobile checkpoints, random searches, mandatory identification cards, and paramilitary police in our streets, we have lost a vital part of our American heritage. America was born of protest, revolution, and mistrust of government. Subservient societies neither maintain nor deserve freedom for long.
