https://twitter.com/Trump_History45/status/1690099162661158915 1690099162661158915 It's only funny because of the cult of personality being built up around this guy. But that makes these times pivotal. Sooner or later I believe this is going to come down to a choice between Trump and the Constitution. That smells like the name of the game to me. Expediency or principle? Choose wrong and you never get to choose again. If course, this one has become doubly funny since October, when he doubled down on kissing Zionist ass.

Yeah, but we didn't find a way to make it viable. We got to Miami in 2012, and got given a long ride on the short bus. Now we know. Or, at least, most of us figured it out. Compared to the Ron Paul Treatment, everything has been free publicity and red carpets for Trump. Irrelevant is better than irredeemable. The irrelevant can be made relevant. The GOP cannot be bent to serve the needs of the people.

Reason's taking the exact opposite line of whine. They're complaining that the people who kept doing things like nominating Barr finally got ousted from power, but they were the ones who had more than two nickels to rub together. So, it's broke now. The white woman seems to have a particular disdain for broke people, if you can imagine.

Those particular white people you're talking about are an external threat. Or, at least they are here. Just not external enough to suit me--yet. All we have to do is say fuck you, and make it stick. And out here, we can make it stick.

That's the sucker play. We aren't going to make this work. People literally think Trump's going to do things he didn't even try to do before. It's the definition of insanity. I'd rather husband my resources against the day when people finally figure that out. Maybe we can get ahead of their next "here's your pacifier" psyop personality, the way we did in 2008. There's nothing left but to make sure the door doesn't hit us in the ass. So, trying to stop the insanity, trying to negotiate with the unreasonable, and trying to mitigate the damage are fool's errands. They want to make things intolerable? Good. Rub my fellow heartlanders' noses in the shit until they figure it out. In that respect I'm all for Trump's installation, in hopes the screwing he gives us will wake people up. And I am dead set against it, because rank and file Republicans will take one hell of a screwing from another Republican, and say it's for "The Team". You see evidence of it all over this forum. Ultimately I hope they are stupid enough to reinstall Biden, because that would get men off their asses. But that's so glaringly obviously not the plan, a thousand phonied up indictments notwithstanding...

People can be united behind the idea. That'll do for me. I just don't want to trade our brown people for a bunch of lily-white practitioners of critical race theory. There are some seriously undesirable white people between Fredrick and Fredericksburg. Don't want to trade one single Cherokee or Osage for any of them. Keep them on your own coast. I still think that's the main difference between us. You need to bug out to flyover county and relax. I believe tod evans can hook you up with some beautiful Ozark mountain acreage that won't cost half of what you get selling out up there. From fifteen hundred miles away, The Bronx is but a thing to joke about.

As I recall, the cat was the only character in Animal Farm who made out. Except the pigs and dogs, of course, but the cat didn't even come out ashamed to look in a mirror. Sometimes all you can do is step back and hope one side doesn't have enough of an advantage to come out of it in one piece. It was worth fighting for, back in the seventies when routing them would have been easier. Everyone was too caught up, however, in bragging they got whitewall radials for their Cutlasses at that time. Where are those polyester leisure suits now? Trump won't even try to fix this. Secession is the answer. Clearly we simply cannot even live peacefully with New Yorkers from fifteen hundred miles away. We need to expunge them from our political system.

And purchasers of electric vehicles are still subsidized. And SpaceX is still putting government satellites in orbit. They ratchet up the intolerable just to back halfway back down. That's all Trump is. I stand by my line in the sand, and this good guys/bad guys soap opera doesn't impress me.

Cap is also making a valid point. Both "sides" are herds, and both are being herded. What good does it do anyone to see people switching herds? Tyranny always follows on the heels of a great victory. Batista was a bum who needed to be thrown out. Chaing Kai-shek was a bum who needed to be thrown out. Nicholas II was a bum who needed to be thrown out. I'm sick of problem -> reaction -> tyranny. We have a real solution. Why would we work toward their "solution"? Are we fools? I'm glad more people are seeing the problem, yes. But if the only "cure" they know about is worse than the disease, I'm not going to Walgreen's for it. Even if it is free.

But to the people spending billions (of mostly other people's money) to create them, that's not a failure. That's a feature. Point extinguisher at the base of flames. Otherwise all the dry chemical will be exhausted and you'll have nothing left to do but roast marshmallows.

Dude. You're accusing someone of not wanting to have a serious conversation, but you brought up a proven tool as if he was the answer to something. "People are switching from one Publicized Candidate to the other in defiance of their demographics!" Yes. And...? That's why divide and conquer works so well. Many people will figure out they're on the wrong side, but by then they can't coalesce around anyone who might possibly do them any good. People who can't figure it out just decide which herd to run with. Just as long as they are both more concerned with each other than with me--and more or less the same size, so there's enough attrition. Sorry. I tried giving a damn. Waste of time.

Liberty is lost through complacency and a subservient mindset. When we accept or even welcome automobile checkpoints, random searches, mandatory identification cards, and paramilitary police in our streets, we have lost a vital part of our American heritage. America was born of protest, revolution, and mistrust of government. Subservient societies neither maintain nor deserve freedom for long.
