If you disagree with Phill on anything, you love Biden. Even if you use a different brand of toothpaste than Phill, you love Biden. That actually makes the results of the last election believable. No wonder the senile old child molesting tool won.

"Indians of the Red Reservation. Yes, we know you're starving. We are the ones who are starving you. Those who went off the reservation may therefore appeal to you, in light of the fact that you will die of starvation eventually. But if our cavalry ever finds them, they will die sooner. Therefore, it's important that you stay on the reservation and hope you die later, rather than sooner." "Voters of Team Red. You know this empire is crumbling. We are the ones tearing it down. But it's important that you keep nominating whomever CNN tells you constantly that they hate, or Team Blue might cause the empire to crumble faster. Therefore it's important that you not try it their way and see if He Who Must Not Be Named, if nominated, might win the election, because then the empire might not outlive you." Stay on the reservation, Republicans. That way, even if you win, you lose.

But of course you can see that some of us are saying, "Oh, good. A state put itself in a position where it now has no choice but oppose this weaponization of OSHA." You just don't want to talk about that aspect of it.

It's not about convincing libertarians that the same stupidity that got us into this mess will get us out. It's about making people who aren't conservative, but self-identify as conservatives, afraid to "leave their lane" and do something in their own self-interest for a change. God forbid they stop depending on CNN to tell them who CNN hates the most, and act on their principles for a change. They might discover doing the same thing over and over, hoping for a different result, isn't as much fun as they thought it was Team players will throw the game time after time after time, if you've buffaloed them into thinking scoring real points will lose your Team the game.

Trust me, this is all about 2024 to the OP, yes. No, I don't really have an argument against states pushing back against .fedgov, especially considering the way I talked about Montana and their ban on employer mandates. No, I have no objection to temporary relief at all. I'm just not any more interested in which Red Flock Shepherd is more Alpha than you are. Am I concerned DeSantis will get too much credit for this? Not really. I'm more concerned that people seem to be confusing this with conservatism. I'm concerned that no matter how dire the situation becomes, Team Red will never be able to pull their heads out and realize that only their principles will save us. Their New Alpha Shepherd won't even try, any more than Reagan or Trump did. I learned from history, and I'm fucking sick of repeating it. That, too, isn't complicated. People just insist that the same stupidity that got us into this mess will get us out. What was that definition of insanity, again?

Slavers defending slavery were trying to give their tribe more options. And demanding that "the conservative party" offer up conservatives will at least help us find the cancer. If the GOP cannot or will not do so, it is the cancer.

Yes you do. You're just smart enough to see the simile is imperfect. Yes, it's a humanitarian thing to do to help those who are suffering treat the symptoms. It's a more humanitarian thing to do to cut out the cancer. One provides temporary comfort. The other restores hope.

Actually, it's called states' rights. It's anti-federalist. And DeSantis is trying to give his tribe more options, at everyone else's expense. If I was genetically disposed to approve of that sort of thing, I wouldn't be descended from abolitionists. I'm older than Medicare. But even if I wasn't, I'd be more concerned with getting a free market than with hoarding for my tribe more supplies than my tribe even needs. I guess that's the difference between conservatives and Team Red.

And? I'm not some sheep looking nervously to see if the New GOP Presumptive Nominee is Alpha enough to ensure the Red Flock gets their share. I'm much more concerned with trying to find a way to get my free market back--and all our other God-given freedoms. I guess it's just a matter of priorities. All in the world we need to do to get our free market back is pull our head out of their crotches and grow a pair of our very own.

Very well. Remember that you asked. This government of the multinationals, by the multinationals and for the multinationals is gearing up to lock people down farther, destroy their livelihoods and their health, and insert undisclosed foreign agents into their bodies through graphene nanotubes which give them direct access to the DNA, by force. Anyone who can look at that and say, "The real crisis here is there are more brown people coming," is a fucking idiot.

Who cares if doctors have autonomy to do what's best for their patients? Who cares about the pawns? We're all watching the chess game to see if DeSantis is more Alpha than Biden.

He seems to have a Christian attitude towards people who are running for their lives. You stormfronters seem to be fond of treating the symptoms, and leaving the disease reverently alone. Who is stirring up shit where they live, displacing them? Who is offering them a guaranteed basic income to attract them here? It's the fascism, stupid. They'd rather stay home and not deal with you, too. Your big, strong, Alpha government makes that impossible in more places around the world than you know exist. You keep the hoarde coming. You enable this. 1. Everything is white supremacy.

Just because I was preaching with the choir present doesn't mean my preaching was accusing the choir of anything. You have eyes to see. People need to learn how to tell misguided humans from inhuman animals--even when the animals are admirably Alpha and CNN whines about them a lot. But if even Jesus can't teach us the garden variety sinners are potentially more righteous than the Pharisees, I guess I'm wasting my breath.

That's true of some. But there are clueless people out there. And when they wake up from their wokeness and smell the coffee, we need to remember what Jesus did not do. He did not say, no repentance is possible. Once fooled, once an idiot, always a brainwashed idiot. That's why they're trying to make us mad at each other, encouraging us to view each other as subhuman, and stifling Christianity. They don't want the woke-turned-awakened to have allies when they're ready to vent their wrath at those who fooled them.

'I have had many Republican politicians tell me, "Will, you are one of Mr. Coolidge's best boosters." Well I did like him. I could get a laugh out of almost all the little things he said, but at the same time they were wise. He could put more in a line than any public man could in a whole speech. 'Here is a thing do you reckon Mr. Coolidge worried over in late years? Now he could see further than any of these politicians. Things were going so fast and everybody was so cuckoo during his term in office, that lots of them just couldn’t possibly see how it could ever do otherwise than go up. Now Mr. Coolidge didn’t think that. He knew that it couldn't. He knew that we couldn't just keep running stocks and everything else up and up and them paying no dividends in comparison to the price. His whole fundamental training was against all that inflation. Now there was times when he casually in a speech did give some warning but he really never did come right out and say, ''Hold on there, this thing can’t go on! You people are crazy. This thing has got to bust.'' 'But how could he have said or done that? What would have been the effect? Everybody would have said, "Ha, what’s the idea of butting into our prosperity? Here we are going good, and you our President try to crab it. Let us alone. We know our business." 'There is a thousand things they would have said to him or about him. He would have come in for a raft of criticism. The Republican Party, the party of big business, would have done their best to have stopped him, for they couldn't see it like he did, and they never could have understood until a year later. 'Later in his own heart did Calvin Coolidge ever wish that he had preached it from the housetops regardless of what big business, his party, or what anybody would have said?

Ever read Go Set a Watchman by Harper Lee? Know why that book was officially despised? It's about a young woman throwing a hissy because she catches her father being practical. And the reason Theye don't want you to read it is because the young liberal airhead is considerably more conservative than any Team Red Guy on this forum. That's how far wrong we've gone. We don't know how well things work when government doesn't do them. The idea doesn't even occur to people. GOP primary voters keep obediently falling in love with whoever gets whined about most on CNN, been doing it since CNN was founded nearly forty years ago, and they're threatening to lock us up and inject us with unidentified stuff that causes inflammation, suppresses the immune system, and is delivered by graphene nanotubes. What was that famous definition of insanity, again? I don't care who CNN talks smack about the most, particularly if he's cashing paychecks from Big Pharma. If I can't find a good He Who Must Not Be Named, the GOP can take a flying leap.

Liberty is lost through complacency and a subservient mindset. When we accept or even welcome automobile checkpoints, random searches, mandatory identification cards, and paramilitary police in our streets, we have lost a vital part of our American heritage. America was born of protest, revolution, and mistrust of government. Subservient societies neither maintain nor deserve freedom for long.
