There are times I've felt like a hostage to the good names of Ron and Rand Paul. I think if this is to be nothing but a playground for partisans and Trumpbots, the Pauls' good name should be taken off the place. Maybe Judge Nap didn't think twice about racists sullying Ron Paul by association. And maybe Bryan doesn't either. But it bothers me. Liberty Forest? Sure, let that be a place for partisan divide and conquer bullshit. But keeping the Doctors Paul on the masthead as the place is allowed--nay, with somewhat liberal but very responsible people banned at the behest of Bolton spammers, encouraged--to go to weed and seed is just disgusting. I mean, 'a Muslim ban is libertarian'? Collectivist libertarianism? Fucking seriously? No wonder lurking seldom puts me in a good mood any more. Take the Paul name off the masthead. Clean it up or disassociate their good names from it. Seriously.

If that is the word,, then how about pushing back the other way.. Bump stocks are dumb unsafe toys,, ban them and legalize selector switches across the board. and while your at it,,remove SBR ,AOW, classifications and legalize them,, and as well as supressors.. too much,, How about something simple.. "Restoration of Rights" and fixing NCIS to reflect this correction. I'll be watching patiently while thay add "tools" and funding for more police.

LOL Never mind you refuse to learn from history, and want us to relive it. You're completely oblivious to what are practically current events too. Tell us more about how the people of the U.K. being disarmed and helpless victims makes it impossible to manage a mass killing in the Tube, or in Manchester. Please. We love entertainment.

Who is "they"? The local constabulary in Jefferson County, Colorado? Who else? Is this uniform nationwide? The good news is that if the people of Broward County, Florida don't like what they saw, they can do something about it. And they don't have to talk the voters in any other county or any other state into caring about the incompetence of their sheriff to do it. When the police get federalized, the people of Broward County, Florida, or Jefferson County, Colorado, or any other place in this nation will not have that luxury. We will have to convince voters nationwide that our county sheriffs are more important than abortion and gay marriage and their own county sheriffs and everything else in order to get some local relief and local reform. Something to look forward to. In the meantime I find it disturbing to see the tens of thousands of local law enforcement agencies across the land referred to collectively as "they". It seems like nothing but a way to convince us that they are already monolithic, that the disease which infects one must necessarily already infect them all. I see that day coming. I prefer not to rush it along with sloppy language.

The Nunes memo demonstrated that the FBI meddled in the federal election on evidence provided by, and quite probably at the behest of, a candidate's campaign. Whether this is 'earth shattering' or not, one supposes, depends upon whether one thinks the people of the United States pick their officeholders in elections, or if they are installed some other way. The Schiff Rebuttal is an attempt to blunt the impact of that, and whatever proof it may have offered of its assertions have been redacted. So, to say there's nothing earth shattering in it is a foregone conclusion. It is not merely fake news, it isn't news at all. The fact that there's nothing earthshattering in it is hardly earthshattering. Nor does that fact, like the memo itself, have any impact on the ugly facts which the Nunes memo brought to the light of day. But, of course, we would expect National Propaganda Radio to pretend otherwise...

The middle class has existed for centuries. One need only read Pride and Prejudice to see that any claims of the middle class being a recent innovation are ridiculous. And if you don't like chick books, read some Dickens. The middle class is no innovation of World War II. That's just silly. Which makes one wonder why someone would suddenly be trying to rewrite this little aspect of history. Could it be that those who are systematically robbing the middle class want the middle class to believe that they are some sort of cyclical phenomenon, and they have no right to believe their whole way of life should not dry up and blow away of natural causes? And of all the players who are destroying the middle class, is there any one which is more key and more active than Zippy's employer, the Federal Reserve? Well. No wonder we find this tripe unceremoniously dumped on this page.

For those who don't know why the Smith-Mundt Act prevents American propaganda from being broadcast in Minnesota: So, we are likely to be subjected to State Department propaganda. Yet another safeguard designed to help keep Americans in charge of America is being declared an obsolete relic and discarded.

So far, government is succeeding in convincing most people that we don't need protection from it, and do need protection from each other. Is it insanity--or, at least, a state of denial? Or is it just media engineered ignorance? The government can't achieve the tyranny it seeks without tipping its hand. The question is, will society protect itself from its government? History does not make me hopeful.

LOL The road to hell on earth is paved with people who thought slowing our progress down this road right this second was too important, and we could just wait and look for the right road later. That is how they play us. You can get more blood out of a thousand veins than one artery. We spend so much time defending our arteries, we never take the offensive--and our liberty dies the death of a thousand cuts.

If the both of them is the problem, if we get screwed when one of them plays us off against the other, then quibbling about which of them is what is how we bend ourselves over for our bipartisan screwing. You keep simpering about which is the bad cop and which is the good cop. They're both cops! They're working together to put your ass in prison! Jesus...

The EU is crumbling even faster than the Tenth Amendment. Maybe letting the "Demoncrats" build seven more stories on the house of cards is our only hope. Even someone as partisan as you must admit there's merit in this observation: Are we better off electing RINOs and watching conservatives sleep, or are we better off electing Democrats that are honest about being Democrats and keeping the conservatives screaming bloody murder?

Which is, of course, where gun control nuts go astray. They actually think they can get a genie back in the bottle. And there's the rub. Where do you draw the line between 'ordinary weapons' and 'different'? Some say single-shot muzzleloaders. Some say full auto. Some say tanks and artillery. Not many, but some. No matter where you draw the line, everything above that line is something your friendly government, which loves you and wants you to be happy, is going to stockpile.

Wise man. There surely is such legislation, and more on the way. Are you out of touch? Probably. Does your idea have merit? Definitely! But take heart. Maybe your Official State Rand Paul Campaign Coordinator will let you have a nuclear-tipped ICBM or two. Failing that, yes, I'm all for restricting weapons of mass destruction to the garbage heap of history. But like the gun control nuts, I am at a loss how to eliminate the thousands that already exist. I am certain, however, that restricting them to the generals and politicians--the most psychotic elements in our society--was not such a grand plan.

Liberty is lost through complacency and a subservient mindset. When we accept or even welcome automobile checkpoints, random searches, mandatory identification cards, and paramilitary police in our streets, we have lost a vital part of our American heritage. America was born of protest, revolution, and mistrust of government. Subservient societies neither maintain nor deserve freedom for long.
