I have to call bullshit. Not on the OP, but what Microsoft is selling is the Illusion of Privacy, not actual privacy. Their definition of Privacy and an average persons definition of Privacy are VERY different. - Average Person: Hands off what I do. - Microsoft: Collect ALL data on what you do and make it all for sale while tricking people into believing their Privacy is protected The corporate mentality of Privacy means they can and should collect all data on everything they possibly can. To "protect" that privacy just means they put firewalls on the servers where that data is all stored. However, it IS still for sale. Here is the trick. The companies that come along and buy that data have to get something back from the money they spend on access to that data. For example, an Insurance Company. They buy some data about you. For that purchase to be cost effective, they need to charge you more than they spent on acquiring that data. End result is that you end up spending more money for things that are known about you. Do NOT trust corporate legalese in regards to Privacy due to the very different definitions that they and you will have. Their "tools" are meaningless. The only way to truly protect your Privacy is to NEVER give them any information about yourself in any way shape or form, which you are automatically expected to do with things like "telemetry".

(That goes for both US / State Citizens that were born here and Native American "Indians") When the economy collapsed in 2008, where was OUR bailout? When Obamacare was passed, where did our jobs go? When Wall St benefited from the financial devastation of Main St, where was Congress then?

Tools they NEVER should have had to begin with, thus, he was in the absolute MORAL Right to expose the Tools of the powers that be. Had these been tools of the public to use to reign in government while leaving the people alone, then those same tools would not be misused.

It isnt that they have "no money" or "little money", it IS that the money they do have has lost so much of its purchasing power that the cheapest alternatives are almost always sought. It is a death throe of a dying currency, since ALL debt based currencies eventually collapse.

Consider the source. Wall Street Journal Truth is TREASON in the Empire of Lies. No information should ever be able to damage the reputation of a government that truly serves the people. That being said, there is a legitimate need for Classified, Secret, and Top Secret information. Such as military strategy, security codes, etc. Some things, such as details of a specific military operation should only be classified as so long as the conclusion of that military operation. Once that operation has concluded, there should be "nothing to hide". Yes, we attacked so and so on such and such a date by doing this, in order to achieve this. Prior to conducting that operation, revealing that information could compromise the mission, but after it is all said and done, they should be the ones with "nothing to hide" from us. Sadly, this is the exact opposite of the way they treat information. "The public has no 'Right' to know what we have done, but it is okay if we spy on every aspect of our citizens lives." That is the mentality of Servants of Tyranny.

Agreed. It is not enough to simply "End the Fed". What is more important is what the Fed is replaced with. Probably another form of Central Bank is what is planned by them, but what is not in the works is any form of Honest Money System that frees the ordinary man from the clutches of money manipulators.

I have another solution. Dont buy Internet of Things dishwashers, toilets, fridges with fucking cameras in them, barbie dolls that spy on your children, use shit like Amazon Echo, use Smart Locks, Google Nest, Windows 10, allow NVidia driver telemetry, download every fucking app under the sun, connect your Smart TV with a fucking camera to the internet that can be accessed by anyone anywhere anytime, use XBox Kinect, Apple Watch, biometric monitors like Fitbit, and for fucks sake, new cars that offer mandatory telemetry so they can fine you for not changing your oil at their overpriced facilities, quit offering ANY support to ANY company that wants ANYTHING to do with creating a US based equivilant of Chinas "Sesame Score". Your missing fucking left sock does not need to connect to the Internet of Things to allow you to remotely connect with jack shit. It is called BOYCOTT Surveillance Devices. Understand it. Look for it. Avoid it.

Ok, lets get one thing straight. The Federal Reserve Bank is privately owned by a bunch of rich asshat Banksters who have subverted our own money system against us. This country has had three central banks, all of which have been destructive to the wealth and liberty of people by the transference of the value of a nations currency to serve the corporate interests. We had the First National Bank, Second National Bank, and now the Federal Reserve Bank, which has its own President. We managed to do away with the previous two, but at tremendous cost. To quote others "The Federal Reserve is no more Federal than Federal Express". The very concept of the name casts the illusion that the Federal Reserve Bank is a part of the Federal Government. It is not. The Federal Reserve Bank was established in 1913 along with the Income Tax. However, the burden of proof is not on me. Nor is it the burden of any on this site. That burden falls to the shoulders of those who are unable to realize the devastating nature of allowing a private bank to issue the currency of any nation. You have to see through your own externally manufactured delusions to either understand the true nature of their beast, or you are on their payroll. Most people fall under the first, as that type of thinking is exactly what the powers that be. The real powers that be. The ones that buy out and corrupt our congress and infest every aspect of our legal system to better suit their wants and needs. The ones who sell wars with nations full of people who want nothing more than to be left alone. The financiers of debt and death. The Financial Elite.

If he actually tries this, I may consider offering some support for Trump... Proof will be when the privately owned central bank makes a move to have Trump assassinated, which I hope does not happen, but would be not so different than Kennedy, Lincoln, or Jackson.

Conclusion, "Men are disposable" thus not worth treating with an ounce of respect. This is EXACTLY how the Nuclear Family is turned into baby machines who pop out fresh meat for the grinder every day. They want to act like the Father Figure of the family has never contributed a damn thing, ever. So not only is the concept that "men are not needed" flat out stupid, but suits agendas of corporations who need women (currently) to reproduce and care for their new employees in training (which starts at birth) and end up always being considered Human Livestock Property of the State or Corporations. "Oh, he is a man. His contributions to society as a whole are completely negated. If only Ron Paul had been born a female or became an LBGTRBBQWTF, his efforts to embrace Liberty as a foundation of people would not have been completely worthless." /total sarcasm

Agreed, and that is also exaccerbated by shoving a bunch of kids together and telling them the only thing important about who they are is their date of manufacture, thus, sorting them into grades based on age. Couple that with the effects of the Department of Indoctrination (Education) on their fragile minds. Gotta get em while they are young.

Ive heard Putin say on several occasions he respects the American people because he knows our people are damn well fed up with the Warmongers in office. I think he knows damn well the US Warmongers trying to lay a trap by provoking him to attacking us first. Once they attack us, then it would be relatively obvious to most of the people who are still asleep that Russia is the enemy. Russia is NOT our enemy. Our greatest enemy is within our own country and operates outside the moral and legal boundaries of humanity. I, for one, am thankful that Putin has shown the citizens of our country nearly infinite patience. Russian sympathizer? Hardly not. I think the shoe is on the other foot. There are many Russians who are American sympathizers, hopefully since they see us generally as a people trying their best to survive a tyrannical regime that has metastasized like a cancer in the land of the once free that now threatens the people of both nations.

So I watched Bad Moms a few days ago. The damage that the portrayal of fake people in fake situations with fake resolutions extends to nearly every part of the psyche. The movie was a bit raunchy for my taste, but my real issue is the depiction that all men are bumbling stupid worthless selfish idiots that do nothing to deserve the respect of anyone. The value that men are given in many movies and shows is only what can be taken from them and are disposable otherwise. These are fake people doing fake things and although watching a movie from time to time can provide us with some escapism from the real world stressors we all experience every day, the Suspension of Disbelief most people embrace when watching fiction has caused too many to see these fake characters as the way real people are, and by extension, the way of extension, the upper limit of our potential. There is very little that is empowering to the Nuclear Family in flicks like Bad Moms. I would personally not mind it as much if the same messages are not repeated consistently through every damn movie. I also watched Its a Wonderful Life for Christmas. Having worked at NBC for the better part of a decade every Christmas, Its a Wonderful Life has become a tradition for me as it has been for NBC to air Its a Wonderful Life every Christmas. Despite having been made in 1946, it was a much better movie that provided a much higher entertainment value for me than these new RomCom Dramadys (Romantic Comedy Drama Tragedy) that due nothing but add to the degradation of our Mental Image of our fellow human beings. Sadly, too many of us enjoy being constantly lied to that our fellow humans have very little in the way of redeeming qualities. Yet, some of the most powerful phrases exist only in many of these movies. "There is nothing Noble about being superior to another man. True Nobility comes from being superior to your former self." Films toss around phrases like that in abundance then immediately turn back around and reinforce the concept of human disposability. If you want to watch movies, great. Just remember these are fake characters in fake worlds doing fake shit.

Is a Future Revolution Possible Without Privacy?

by DamianTV on 03-11-2013 at 02:16 PM
(This was a post that I slightly edited to make sense by itself. The original post is here.)

Very few people are looking toward the Future when Privacy is Impossible. But if Privacy is completely gone, will a Revolution even be possible?

Google GlASS might be able to record what you do right now as a video, but this will only be the first in a long series of progressively privacy invading advancements. One of them inevitably will be Google Contact Lenses. However,
